Dear Snugs, Thank you again for all you do! Sweet dreams :)
Ohhhhh, isn’t he adorable? Whining for his parents. They are so pitiful when sick. I’m sooo glad he ate for you. That will help him gain strength. I’m sure he must miss Rocky, don’t you?
When my EmmaRose was so sick with congestive heart failure, the vet said she probably wouldn’t make it thru the night. Hit me like a ton of bricks. We immediately went to prayer for her. 3 days later, she was home with us and is doing well.
They are just so small and pitiful.
NordP, you crack me up! Do you bleed purple, too? (I mean that as in “as I do?”)
Thanks for tonight’s Dose, Jonny!
My prayers for President Bush.
I’m 575 pages into the Reagan Diaries kept during his Presidency. He went through so many similar things that our George is facing, it’s like deja vue and also gets my blood boiling. The Dems were a piece of work then as now.
From the report of the ipsos poll, (it is necessary to laugh or to scream):
The telephone survey of 1,004 adults was conducted July 9-11 in English and Spanish by Ipsos, an international public opinion research company. The margin of sampling error was plus or minus 3 percentage points.
Good for you with your prayers and love...LOTS can be accomplished....LOTS. There's much the medical profession just isn't ready to come to grips with yet.
I MISS CRIS CARTER SOOO MUCH. (And Jack Del Rio, too!)
If you look very closely you can see the red telephone box

Thanks...Now I think I remember it...it’d forgotten it... wonderful both of those fine men.
Thank You.... ;o)
Awww .... that’s really a pretty little square. Thank you for sharing that, snugs. Hope you’re having a nice weekend.
THANK YOU for re-posting the GWB and General Pace video!
AWESOME . . . DevSix and his brother are genuine AMERICAN HEROS!!
Yes, they are. Isn’t he smart? Just typical of the men and women in our military.
My pleasure--I enjoyed watching it again myself! :) I am just astonished that GWB took criticism for that! He was so very obviously having a good time at the General's expense--all in good fun. Oh well.
A SATURDAY UPDATE . . .
You will find wonderful photos and a very high quality video of today’s service here:
Another incisive commentary by Mark Noonan:
THE PRESIDENT WILL NOT BACK DOWN
“. . . 2008 doesn’t matter; the poltiical gamesmanship of the Democrats doesn’t matter - all that matters is winning and I do believe that only President Bush has the courage to see such a thing through. Good and great as some of the Presidential aspirants are, the plain fact of the matter is that it takes rare courage to go on as President Bush has - as I’ve said before, it will take some time before we fully appreciate how great a President he has been...but I’ll also bet that whomever comes next, they will be a much smaller person in contrast to President Bush.”
Not only was the Democrat-loving AP/IPSOS REID poll forced to admit that the President’s JA rating had actually increased abit while Congress’ JA rating had plummeted to 24%, RASMUSSEN was forced to admit that the President’s JA rating had hit 39% for the second time in a week — mumbling the whole time about statistical noise of course! [FYI: If these two pollsters put the President’s JA rating at 33% and 39% respectively, then we know for certain his actual rating is in the mid 40s — with his PERSONAL APPROVAL rating still in the 60s!]

I know I forgot a few in my TO list - so sorry -
This joke came to me by email and I had to share - it bears repeating...
While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75 year old California rancher, whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Nancy Pelosi and her elevation to speaker of the house.
The old rancher said, “Well, ya know, Nancy is a post turtle.”
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a ‘post turtle’ was.
The old rancher said, “When you’re driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a post turtle.”
The old man saw a puzzled look on the doctor’s face, so he continued to explain. “You know he didn’t get there by himself, he doesn’t belong there, he doesn’t know what to do while he’s up there, and you just want to help the dumb animal get down.”

Those three pictures are terrific! I love the last one because as you sad, it really makes the left furious. They get so much joy out of making fun of him and I get joy out of him not caring what they think..........thanks...
Blessings to you too, Kit.
Thank you, Buddy :)
Great to see you!
My summer is going well (though I could do without the humidity :o) Hope you're enjoying your summer too.
And don't be such a stranger! :)
You two should talk ;)
Thank you so much :)
Hi, Bear! Thank you :)
We do talk. :) She is kind enough to have me on her Potter ping list. :)
I hope you have been well jonny, I’m sorry I haven’t been on too many threads lately. (Just the Potter ones), I’ve just had a hard time stomaching the political scene lately. :(
We do! LOL!! We're all going to burst from anticipation on the HP countdown and Order of the Phoenix threads. Just think, EG, by this time next week we'll know how it all ends!
I am so with you. I've been sticking to entertainment threads, too.
Hello!! Thank you for the friendly words. I miss all of you very much, and the goings on here. I’ve become pretty much a drive-by poster these days.
I do have some good news. My weight loss is now 26 pounds and counting, since earlier this year.
Jonny, there is another playlist I made up a while ago that keeps rumbling around in my mind to burn onto a CD and send to you, so that is my plan in the near future.
My weight loss is now 26 pounds and counting, since earlier this year.
That is WONDERFUL!! What have you been doing to have such great success? I could stand to lose 15-20 pounds! :)
