There is nothing wrong with forming an opinion and then changing your mind if it turns out later that things were not as they seemed. Right now it seems clear that Vick was deeply involved in this dogfighting operation, though many are posturing to act like they are above using their brains to form an opinion on the matter. Vick will be very well lawyered-up and could very well escape any kind of punishment. When he is found not guilty by a jury of starstruck morons, it won't make him a great guy.
