“Do not post to me”

We've received many requests from freepers requesting that other freepers not post to them. There are several problems with this.

1. It's impossible for us to enforce.
2. We don't have the time to enforce these requests.
3. We don't have the software to keep track of these requests.
4. Thick skin helps.
5. Ignore the poster, if you don't reply, they won't reply.

Free Republic does not need a bozo filter, bozo filters are for wimps.

Final note: Trolls, troublemakers, disruptors, forum pests, malcontents, RINOs, liberals, stalkers, et al, would continue posting to (harassing) someone after being asked to stop. Conservative FReepers would not.

Fair enough. Some people are too annoying and their sole goal is to disrupt every thread in particular the "good news about Iraq" threads. Eventually FR needs to do something with these folks who spread defeatism all over the place. Millions of people read FR each week, it should be the forum where people come to see how we are winning the war and why we should fight the war till we achieve the ultimate victory.

FR should be "THE VICTORY FORUM".

Cool. The “don’t post to me” folks have always been some of the most annoying posters at FreeRepublic. Usually they only make that whining request after lobbing an insult at somebody, and they want to be able to get the person banned after receiving a well-deserved rebuff.
