This guy was posting a reply over at
Don Surber as to why and how Republicans and Democrats differ on the handling of "scandals". Pretty well sums it up for me. Hat tip to Don and Mark.

It seems fairly straightforward to me. Republicans think of themselves largely as conservatives, and as such, they have little tolerance for inconsistency and — especially — hypocrisy. Democrats generally follow the polls, not higher moral standards, whereas Republicans try to stick to principles they arrive at after a lot of deep thought and reasoning.
Let’s say we have a politician who preaches temperance in general and is then caught guzzling whiskey. If the politician is a Democrat, hypocrisy will not matter, as long as he follows the polls in response. If the politician is a Republican, his conservative supporters will lose confidence and revoke their support. It’s as simple as that.

Jesse Ventura used to have a radio show on the same station as Jason. When Jesse ran for Guv Jason was all over him for being a liberal, and when Jesse won he sent Jason a dead crow in the mail.
Jason is very entertaining unless one is a lib =)

Hi sweet rightwing. Lisening to this Jason guy in the truck on the way back from church. (donating clothes) Yeaaaaaaaaaaa, he's pretty good.
Great comment, "The Republicans are running away from this guy like Clinton running from church." Kristinn and I looked Clinton in the eye after church with the bible in his hand, he looked at us and recognized us and RAN.
