About 20 million on any given week night (big three networks combined).............about the same amount that hangs with Rush each week.

Like the big metro newspapers, they are hemorrhaging viewers/readers each week..............

I haven't subscribed to a metro paper in ages and I don't watch the evening news anymore.............don't miss 'em one bit........

"still watch"

Unfortunately a lot more than you'd think. Most Americans still rely on their daily lib paper and the alphabet network for the very carefully screened "news" they receive. I know this by just asking my friends, family, and co-workers questions about particular topics. I frequently get the "I didn't know that" response or the "you're making that up" response. Average Americans still have no idea how limited the amount of truthful news they get is.

"How many people still watch the network news broadcasts?"

Actually, I believe that a very high percentage of people like Gabriel do. (WWII vets)
