Lieberman Urges Leader Reid and Speaker Pelosi to Denounce Moveon.org Attack on General Petraeus.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Senator Joe Lieberman (ID-CT) issued the following statement in response to the Moveon.org ad attacking General Petraeus in today’s New York Times:

“The personal attack on Gen. David Petraeus launched today by Moveon.org is an outrageous and despicable act of slander that every member of the Congress — Democrat and Republican — has a solemn responsibility to condemn.......

The General looks fresh as a daisy. Amb Crocker is starting to look a teeny bit wilted. You know that they have to be jetlagging, though. Plus, it can’t be easy breathing all the noxious fumes those gasbag dems are emitting.

I keep thinking how horrifying it must be for a soldier to realize that these idiots are holding the purse strings, and supposedly charting the nation's course.

That's all I can think about - how the troops must view this farce. And I wonder about the Iraqis, too. Haven't read/heard anything how this is playing with the troops on the grounds and our Iraqi allies yet. Have you?

Should have seen the PR got from the DU crowd. Most of the posts started with “F... him......” Sometimes I think DU is really in the backroom of Al Jazeera. They couldn’t be Americans.
