As WAMM and other communist anti-war groups assembled at the Cathedral of St. Paul Saturday, over 25 counter-protesters gathered
at nearby Triangle Park. The lefties didn't think of getting this prime section of space, spanning two long corners alongside their parade route.
MN Freepers joined forces with TrueNorth activists, who are gathering folks to counterprotest kooks at next year's RNC Convention.
On the steps of the cathedral, leftists displayed their wares...
and their fake coffin, and readied to march.
Kitty-corner, we readied our signs and bullhorns and greeted the marchers as they slithered by.
Several dozen moonbats asking how we defined victory, scowling when our reply was defeating the enemy, the enemy surrendering, or just plain NOT LOSING.
Stealing their thunder as photographers aimed lenses away from them over to us.
Jim with his megaphone, guiding us in his parody, "Give Petraeus a Chance." (watch it here.)
And our #1 Highlight: Meeting and capturing "Raging Protester Guy"on film!

“Allow Unions in Iraq!”
Wonder where that sign came from?
AFSCME - some administrative staff are striking at the U of M. (70% are not honoring the strike and working. Heh.
So that person wants AFSCME to organize Iraqi government employees. Wonder who’ll sign up as a field rep.
Thanks for providing the other side.
Now live in Fla, but spent 16 years there, so know that the moonbats don’t like counter protests.
Wonderful! Thank you and thank you for posting this!
Wooo-hooo! I love it when commie protests are countered by sane pro-victory rallies. Keep ‘em coming!! THE SURGE IS WORKING WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!
Hey, Lena! Glad you’re enjoying the “round mound of sound” (RIP) still. I think our “Give Petraeus a Chance” song was a fitting tribute to Don Vogel’s great parodies. Next time, we’ll sing as Howard Cosell. :-)
Great work Minnesota!
