For an number of years I've heard many reports about Muslims who have dreams about Jesus during Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting.
According to a September 21 report in Christian World News, Brother Andrew of Open Doors International said, "Jesus often appears in a vision or in a dream, especially in this time of Ramadan. They're so concentrated on spiritual things and on heavenly things and on the God they're seeking. Every Muslim is still a seeker for God, and then it so often happens, all over the Muslim world, that Jesus appears and they get a changed heart or a strong desire to follow that man who was in my room, who said, 'I'm Jesus, I came to heal you, I came to save you, I died for you, I want you to be with me in heaven.'"
During the month of Ramadan, many Muslims are seeking for an experience with God. They hope that God will be near to them, especially on the "night of power", which is believe by Muslims to be the day Mohammed supernaturally received the Quran.
For several decades now, Christians have organized to pray for Muslims during the month of Ramadan. This year the initiative led by 30-Days International is dubbed "Loving Muslims Through Prayer".
According to The Christian Post, "Some former Muslims who lived in areas where they have no contact with Christians and no chance of hearing the Gospel have said they had dreams and visions of Jesus which spurred them to seek more information about Jesus Christ, eventually resulting in their conversion."
Indeed Muslims around the world are discovering the truth of Jesus Christ. And in doing so, their lives are changed and they experience the reality written by the Apostle Paul 2,000 years ago to the early Christians:
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)
Ive seen this reality in the lives of former Muslims around the world. Some are bold witnesses for the risen Jesus. They have carefully considered the cost of discipleship and have taken up their cross as followers of Christ.
And they are shaking the Islamic world at its very foundations.
I should have posted this in the “Bloggers & Personal” section but I didn’t see that option. How do I move this to the correct section?
You can't. You could click "abuse" and ask the mod to move it, if you want it moved.
Ok thanks.
By the way, I hadn’t heard about SSgt. Matt Maupin until I just saw it now in your tag line. I did a Google search and learned more. Thanks.
I usually pray at least once or twice a day that God helps everyone find Him. In these prayers, Muslims are the number one group of people I pray will see the light.
To me, that is the only hope for world peace short of blowing them to kingdom come.
Great post, Jeep. There are a lot of Muslims who are genuinely spiritual (as opposed to those who affiliate with Islam for the discipline and the political mass movement aspect) and it does not surprise me at all that in searching for ultimate Truth, many actually find it.
“I’ve heard many reports about Muslims who have dreams about Jesus during Ramadan “
WOnderful news
“Invade their countries , kill their leaders , and convert them to Christianity “ -Ann Coulter-
Well Ann ...we’re gettin there ....
Although they pronounce it 'Hay-SOOS'. ;-)
It’s OK here!
Many are coverting to Chritianity too, and then they are persecuted.
I agree.
Our ministry, Truth For Muslims, is seeking to help Christians in America reach Muslims for Christ effectively. We are also educating people about the true nature of Islam.

I've known Christians who have been killed from bringing the gospel to Muslims and I've heard many first hand reports from former Muslims about other former Muslims who have been killed for leaving Islam.
Our Christian friends who have converted from a Muslim background live with this reality.
The good news is that Muslims are coming to faith in Christ in greater numbers than perhaps at any other time in the history of Islam.
Fascinating. I sent the link to the article to my Christian friends; especially ministers. I think this is entirely possible.
Thanks so much.

LOL. Well tell them I said hello ! ! !
What year is that? ! ? ! ?

Lots of groups like that are needed nowadays.
It might not be too christian to mention blowing the baddies to kingdom come, but it’s realistic.
Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. When that day comes, our focus will be on Christ alone.
Thanks for posting this thread.
As for the answer to your question, if you go to Free Republic home page
http://www.freerepublic.com/home.htm
and look in the left hand column, there are several choices listed under Forums, one of those choices is Bloggers & Personal — double click on that choice and the forum will open up. After you are in that forum, click on “Post” and that’s the forum where your thread will appear.

A prayer guide for Christians
Effective law enforcement and military action is a critical function of government and Christians have a responsibility to play a direct role. And as members of the Church, the Body of Christ, Christians can impact the lives of Muslim terrorists through a ministry of prayer.
You can download a copy of the prayer guide here.
Thanks. I’ll check it out. My prayers are very simple and brief. He knows what’s in my heart!
Thank you for explaining this. I thought I would have had the option to post in the bloggers forum after I clicked "post". I didn't realize that I should have been in that forum first and then clicked "post" there.

Great pic. Hey, Muslims need gardeners too!
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life...
Big bump.
Could you send me a private reply or even post a reply to me on this thread, and give me a website where I can go re: this ministry, “Truth for Muslims”.
Thanks,

What about Rhumatism and Priapism?
Which usually results in their death. How terrible it must be to want to worship the Lord and not be able to.
See post #23
I too pray daily for the billion plus souls who honestly and sincerely seek God and who have fallen prey to false religions. The apostle Paul spoke frequently of the pain he felt for this fellow Jews who would not open their hearts to Jesus, and at one point said he would even trade his salvation for that of the Jews.
My concern and prayers for those who don’t know Jesus is not limited to Muslims, but certainly extends to the millions right here in our own great country who have bought into the MSM line that Christians are the greatest threat to our way of life, greater than even Islamofascists.
But do they listen to Jesus? I think not.
That man certainly lives his life like someone who has seen Jesus.
He has started well over 200 churches in Nigeria, has his own Bible College, his life is threatened daily, and his house is wired with speaker wire.
“The Cathedral of Our Lady of Arabia”
Awesome!
:^)
If more than 4 hours, see your doctor!
How wonderful it must be to want to worship the Lord and then soon seeing Him in person!
Huh?
Well, I’m no electrician or anything, but speaker wire used for house wiring seems like it would be a bit substandard.

It’s great to pray for them but I’d pray with one eye on them at all times.
Not shocking. Muslims believe Jesus was an Apostle, second only to Muhammad. The problem isn't that they don't know about Jesus - but that their entire understanding of who God is is fundamentally defective. They believe God is fundamentally Unity - so to have Jesus Christ be God is grossly polytheistic.
Interesting thread. Thanks for posting the story.

"The Mohammedan heresy is doomed. Christ will destroy Mohammedanism, just as He destroyed Mithraism, Catharism, Arianism, and all the other heresies that have risen against Him."
You can add Catholicism to that list.
Nice picture though...but the last thing Jesus would do would be to replace one false teaching with another.
