It's time to let SF know that the Bay Area can no longer count on federal aid in case of emergencies.

Better yet if the military people just decided to hit 'em in the wallet...like find another, more supportive place to go on vacation.

The Marines were turned away because people like this woman are more aligned in their thinking with our enemies than they are with the very people who lay their lives on the line to defend their life and liberty. That's why...plain and simple..and disgusting, revolting, sickening, and pathetic too.

Well stated. My father was in the 4th Marine division in WWII. He always said the country was tilted and all the "nuts" rolled out to Calif. Disgusting is right. Our country is filled with citizens are are no less dangerous than the terrorists. These citizens are traitors to all that is good about America. Duty, Honor and Service are ideals they would never understand or appreciate. Damn all these leftists scum.

I think the Marines could use footage like empty streets in SF as a recruiting commercial.

“If you don’t want YOUR hometown to end up looking like this, consider serving your Country in the proud United States Marine Corp.”

According to the Internet Movie Database, Mrs. Coyote is a former San Francisco location manager for about a dozen motion pictures who is married to leftist actor Peter Coyote, the lesser of the two Hollywood Coyotes.

Wile. E., the more famous of the acting Coyotes.

Thanks for the address. They should be reminded that the Marines are a part of the US Armed Forces which protect and defend their right to behave like idiotic buffoons, and thus are entitled to their respect.

They’re democrats. It’s what they do. I just wish the Marines would have done the filming anyway and see what the cops would have done to them. Can the city be sued for discriminating against them? Where’s the ACLU?

This is after all a war, not a liberal movie.

I think we're all blue in the face trying to tell these stupid libs that. I tried. No, really! Not a Bill Clinton "ahh trawed" I really did try.

"it's an embarrassment. I'm a fourth generation San Franciscan and I don't even recognize my city right now."

gee, I remember San Fran, I've gone over, under and through the Golden Gate Bridge. ...

The city last saw me in '84.... I'll never go back to that sh#t hole. The people suck (literally) , the bums urinate or cr#p in the park and I don't "have" to go anywhere I don't want to anymore.

I liked doing the Sausalito bar crawl, but I just don't feel like giving Cali anymore of my money...ever.

Bunch of lib snobs just make my travel plans easier and easier. I've been around the block a couple of times and like Texas just fine. I'm sure the Marines would be allowed to film where I live, they could all stay at my house and many have. They do make a mess, but sure know how to police up after a party.

Personally, I would consider it a distinct honor to be ‘inconvenienced’ for whatever time it took for these fine men to make the commercial.

Why were the U.S. Marines denied permission to film a recruiting commercial on the streets of San Francisco?

They're only doing what any other enemy of America would do to protect their territory.

I say they film the commercial, and shoot dead any dirty stinking hippy who tries to stop them.

They had to go to the National Park Service for permission to shoot in Marin overlooking the bridge and at Kirby Cove.

Next time Marines, and by that I mean within the next 48 hours, you do what you would do in any enemy combatant situation. You dont ask for permission. You take the hill, do your commericial, and dare the city of San Fran to stop you.

“Marines Denied Permission To Film Commercial On The Streets Of San Francisco”

That’s OK.

A group that will be found guarding the streets of Heaven shouldn’t
have to soil their boots with the filth of Sodom-and-Gomorrah-
by-The-Sea.

(I was alluding to the last couple of lines of the Marine Corps Hymn:

The Marine’s Hymn Lyrics

From the Halls of Montezuma
To the shores of Tripoli
We fight our country’s battles
In the air, on land, and sea;
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean;
We are proud to claim the title
Of United States Marine.

Our flag’s unfurled to every breeze
From dawn to setting sun;
We have fought in every clime and place
Where we could take a gun.
In the snow of far-off Northern lands
And in sunny tropic scenes;
You will find us always on the job —
The United States Marines.

Here’s health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve;
In many a strife we’ve fought for life
And never lost our nerve.
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven’s scenes,
They will find the streets are guarded
By United States Marines.

“Coyote Ugly”

or

“Dude Looked Like A Lady”
(not a total impossibility in San Francisco)

I know what you mean. Unfortunately there are a lot of conservatives in the cities and the worst of the lib scum did the least to build them too. But if they want to live with no guns and no military what can ya do?

Got popcorn?

That’s a great idea. Didn’t the Mayor of San Fran already declare the law null and void, in essence, by marrying fags there? It’s a free town, no permission needed for anything.

What a disgrace.

This is outrageous! Who do these people think they are? It's a damn shame that our service members are protecting the likes of this communist slum.

Personally, the idea of real Marines in SF reminds me of an old story about angels in Sodom.

...the city allows street demonstrations, anti-war protests and other events which snarl traffic, such as Critical Mass. They still don't understand why the Marines got turned away.

Perverts' parades, yes, Marines no. I am embarrassed by my childhood city.

This woman is a disgrace and, if appointed, should be disappointed.

What would it take?
