RENO, Nev. (AP) - A group of Hispanic people in Reno have called for a three-day boycott of all businesses in northern Nevada after a federal raid in which 54 suspected illegal workers were arrested. The group of about 60 people also called for a strike by all Hispanic workers on Wednesday, the final day of the boycott, and for a rally and a march for Reno's federal courthouse in support of those arrested. "Huelga! Huelga! Huelga!" the group chanted as it stood and applauded near the end of a meeting Saturday at El Cordero de Dios Assemblies of God Church in Reno. Huelga is Spanish for "strike."

This is mentioned in the Reno vet flag extraction thread, but since they're marching today (if we don't pass the amnesty bill they may riot--John McCain) I hope anyone in Reno can freep'em.
Now that Chertoff is doing the will of the people's bidding in enforcing immigration laws, he shouldn't think twice about local political fallout, except the possibilities of rounding up avowed illegals right at any protests they make. The illegals sense of entitlement is beyond belief.
Huelga!! should be met by "Mira! La Migra!"

A Freep is planned. They have had poor participation in their little boycott. We also have started a movement to not patronize Hispanic owned businesses. Turns out that many identity thefts occur within days of paying for something with a card at Hispanic owned businesses. Imagine that!!!

Check the immigration status of EVERY protester and take away those illegal. That will put a stop to the protests by and for illegals.

Their arrogance shows no bounds. They are practically daring the government to deport them.

A similar boycott in Prince William County, Virginia had no effect whatsoever. In fact, it boomeranged on them when people from other counties and DC drove down there to shop.
