Oh I dunno, maybe because I have neither the time nor the inclination to read through every or even most FR threads concerning Mitt? I do well to read through even 1/4 of the Fred threads, and I tentatively plan to vote for him.
All I have heard and read in re Mitt's position on right to life issues has been negative, and were taken from his 90's campaigns and public statements. The items you cited are much more recent and indicate that perhaps he has changed his tune on the issue. But if he converted to pro-life, pro-gun rights, and anti-"gay" marriage just recently in anticipation of a run for the White House, I don't have a lot of of confidence that he would make a strong effort to maintain his conversion once he gets there. Say what you will about disappointment with Bush, and I have said a lot, at least he has been true to his well publized pro-life position.
I'll only say this much about Mitt. I'm not voting for him in the primary but if he comes out of the convention as the Pub nominee I will vote for him against the Hilldebeast, and that's more than I can say about pro-abortion gun-grabber Giuliani.
Freeper Unmarked Package has put together a treasure trove of information on Romney all with links to the evidence to back up each point. There are also youtube videos, speech transcripts, endorsements and a whole bunch of other stuff posted on his homepage. Before you make a final decision you should check it out here.
Also, READ THIS. Eight prominent leaders of pro-life and pro-family groups in Massachusetts wrote an open letter praising Gov. Romney for his leadership and accomplishments in these important issues and attesting to his commitment to the pro-life and pro-family causes. (This letter is a MUST READ)

“Carter graduated from The Naval Academy with a degree in physics, and then took graduate courses at Union College in reactor technology and nuclear physics.”
What I wrote still holds. The professional degree in physics is the PhD. To be a nuclear physicist, one would need a PhD specializing in nuclear physics with course work and demonstrated ability to do original research. Reactor technology is one step below reactor engineering. To study reactor engineering or reactor technology, all one would need in the way of nuclear physics courses is an “elementary” nuclear physics survey course at the first year graduate level. I know what I am talking about. I hold a PhD in nuclear and plasma physics. Believe me, Carter is not a nuclear physicist. He can’t even pronounce the word.
PROTIP: Being pretty does not mean being the winner.
the Breck Girl can tell you all about that. :p
Tancredo and Hunter stood up for America FIRST. The others did not.
‘Of course, Matthews is incredibly likely to overplay it and seem like a pompous moron,’
Mathews takes a breath, he exhales pompousity.
