So they want the Christians to come together, but if an Muslim decides to leave your “religion” voluntarily, you’ll stone them to death....Uh yea...
An all out war between Islam and Christianity would not be the end of the world.. it would be very ugly.. but it would be the end of Islam if it came to that. I think they know this.

He doesn't look as fierce as Battle Pope ...
Remember that Islam requires a warning and an "invitation" to convert before an attack is "justified". I think this can be regarded as the warning. Notice that the Islamic side of the issue is demanding that we not make war against them or drive them from their homes. They make no agreement that they will abide by the same rules. It is always a one sided games with Muslims. They operate unfettered while everyone else is expected to be hobbled to their advantage.
Dead men can't sign letters. I believe he became one with an Afghanistan mountain long ago.
Moi???? hehehe. Not me! It was Fox News! No, I think it was the Islamic Swine causing the trouble.
There, fixed it.

“Peace will come when the Arabs love their children more than they hate us”
Bingo! They want a "hudna" so they can regroup for the next attack. This is the time to finish the job. Don't keep playing the old Arab game of skirmish/hudna in perpetuity.
This is the usual muslim Modus Operendi. They start a war and then beg the international community and leaders to stop it.
During the Israeli wars in the 60s/70s - they begged the Soviets to intervene and stop it along with the UN
During the recent Hezbollah attacks and subsequent Israeli counter attacks into Lebanon - they begged the UN,US,and most importantly the international Media to call for an end to Israeli aggression.
Now with Afghanistan and Iraq being “oppressed” they are calling on religious leaders like the Pope to intervene for them.
There is a rich tradition in recent history of muslims starting acts of war and aggression and then begging for international third parties to intervene and save them. This is, of course, to gain a muslim peace which means to extract a more favorable position from which to launch more aggression against any who don’t claim Allah as their Master. Further, the international third parties have been more than willing to serve up the next victim on a platter.
As for the Pope, he made a brilliant quotation from Manuel Paleologos, who hit the nail on the head. Then he backed down.
In other words, embrace dhimmitude or we’re prepared to destroy the entire world making you embrace it. And these are the “moderate” muslims!
They're masters of it.
What is completely new is that there are christians, especially people in elite positions, who are willing to consider a merger. Did you read about the (I think Anglican) Biship who considers herself a Muslim?
No, I haven’t. But I’m not surprised because many haven’t accepted that these people are our enemies.
No kidding.
One of the signatories of this missive is the former Grand Mufti of the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.
The assumption that he must therefore be a bloodthirsty jihadi is borne out by a quick check at MEMRI:
http://memri.org/bin/articles.cgi?Page=archives&Area=sd&ID=SP22601
“On May 25, 2001, one week before the bombing of the discotheque in Tel-Aviv, the PA Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine (appointed by Arafat), Sheikh ‘Ikrimeh Sabri, the highest-ranking cleric in the PA, delivered the Friday Sermon in the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Sheik Sabri spoke in praise of martyrdom [’suicide’] operations, citing early Islamic history. He also criticized the Mufti of Saudi Arabia who declared such operations as religiously illegitimate, and demanded the release from American jails the four Arabs convicted in the World Trade Center bombing in New York. Following are excerpts from the sermon”
Go to the link. It’s the usual blood-curdling stuff about martyrdom and killing the enemies of Islam in the way of Allah, etc. etc., ad nauseum, ad infinitum.
Here's the rule of thumb:
If it comes out of a møøselimbs mouth, it's a lie or a threat.
Sometimes both.

Stressing that "Every Palestinian is, in fact, in a state of Jihad," Sabri praised the Palestinian "martyrs," and particularly the children that are proudly thrust by their parents and other combatants into the frontlines of conflicts with Israelis."I feel the martyr is lucky because the angels usher him to his wedding in heaven," he said.
"There is no doubt that a child [martyr] suggests that the new generation will carry on the mission with determination," said the Mufti, appointed by Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat. "The younger the martyr, the greater and the more I respect him. ... One wrote his name on a note before he died. He wrote: 'the martyr so and so.' In every martyr's pocket we find a note with his name on it. He sentences himself to martyrdom even before he becomes a martyr."
In response to the interviewer's question, "Is this why the mothers cry with joy when they hear about their sons' death?" Sabri answered:
"They willingly sacrifice their offspring for the sake of freedom. It is a great display of the power of belief. The mother is participating in the great reward of the Jihad to liberate Al-Aqsa ... I talked to a young man ... [who] said: '... I want to marry the black-eyed [beautiful] women of heaven.' The next day he became a martyr. I am sure his mother was filled with joy about his heavenly marriage. Such a son must have such a mother."
Asked, "How do you feel about the Jews?" Sabri answered: "I enter the mosque of Al-Aqsa with my head up and at the same time I am filled with rage toward the Jews. I have never greeted a Jew when I came near one. I never will. They cannot even dream that I will. The Jews do not dare to bother me, because they are the most cowardly creatures Allah has ever created. ..."
I have a message for these “scholars” that contains the words “My”,”Ass”,”Your” and “Lips”.
