"I speak for at least half the people here, including the Founder Jim Robinson, who has stated he will not vote for Giuliani under any circumstance."

Agree.

NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE

Don't Cut and Run, vote pro-life every time. It's the way you always win.

‘We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life — the unborn — without diminishing the value of all human life.’ —Ronald Reagan

Good solution, is that like sticking your head in the sand?

Your acting like a liberal, starting with the name calling that is.

The majority of Americans are pro-life.

While that is probably a very true statement, the fact is the majority of Americans are not obsessing about the issue for the elections. It will not be at the top of the agenda for which the majority vote. Just a fact IMO.

Conservatives don’t vote for abortionists!

I was not aware any of the current presidential candidates have ever performed an abortion. That's what a doctor who performs an abortion is called. An abortionist.

Is there a point at which you will consider them worthy of your support?

No offense, but your support, as delivered through electoral politics, hasn't done them a bit of good.

God bless you Jim.

There will be times when God-fearing people have to stand up together for what is right in the eyes of the Lord - even in the face of ridicule or tremendous pressure to back down.

When we are getting such pressure even from those who are part of our group, we realize that the time is urgently upon us & we cannot back away from the fight.

Victory is close at hand if we will pray for God’s guidance and stand together.

Nothing is more important than life?

Baloney. That is not a Christian perspective. Rather, it is a humanist perspective.

John 12:25
“The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.”

I am commenting only on the raw statement. Regarding abortion, well, my comment is not about abortion, which I am against in all cases except to save the LIFE of the mother.

I currently live in Arkansas and I first said in 1980 when I became aware of Bill Clinton that he was not to be trusted. I never would have dreamed the oily hustler would/could be elected to the presidency. I am no longer that naive. And if you people out there think you have any idea how bad those two are, think again. You ain’t seen nothin’ yet. To the extent that every time I type or say anything derogatory about them I wonder if I’m putting me and my family in danger.

Then the conviction does not run very deep.

That's my point. A small percentage will vote on that one issue. The majority are thinking about many other issues instead, like keeping their jobs, homes and lives going from day to day. The Dems are promising the moon to these voters while the conservatives are arguing with each other over an issue that will rank very low in importance to the majority at voting time.

I think that deserves a quote on this thread. Everyone should know this, not as some ploy to win any support for Dr. Paul but so they grasp the real evil of abortion, the same kind of evil that led to the cold-blooded murder of millions of Jews. It is just plain Evil.
Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul spoke at the Value Voters Summit Friday. Dr. Paul recounted an incident when as an intern he witnessed an abortion.

"My professor was permitting abortions to defy the law, I accidentally walked into the room where they were doing an abortion and they delivered a 2 lb infant that was breathing and crying and they put the baby in a basket in the corner and pretended they didn’t hear it cry and let it die."

"The most despicable of all court rulings was Roe vs. Wade", Paul said "We can remove the jurisdiction of this issue from the federal courts."
He is entirely correct about this. Congress can remove abortion entirely from judicial oversight, something we should keep reminding pro-lifers about. The Founders never intended or designed a system of judicial supremacy over voters and legislators. And letting infants die like this was why and how the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act of 2004 (?) got passed. Barrack Obama was a defender of the practice when it was documented in an Illinois hospital.

Sorry, Rudi-lovers. It does matter who you elect and it does matter what their core principles are.

Some of us freepers in some states vote in the primaries to affect the other parties outcome.

I suggest that this upcoming primary cycle will change our country forever.

We need every conservative to vote in the Republican primary. I will not be bothering with registering as a Demorat this cycle. To me it is less important to alter the Demorat outcome; it is cruical to keep Rudy down and out on our own side.

I am genuinely sorry for your loss. This is not the abortion we are talking about. When the mother’s life is at risk, it is always the difficult choice of the family. Any abortion law always has the exception for when the life of the mother is truly at stake

The vast majority of abortions are for convenience, and should be outlawed. No Christian could judge you for the agonizing decision you made, even if some of us would make a different one. Know that God loves you, your first wife and your unborn child very much. Hang in there!

I don’t know that the following is MORE important than life.

But I think . . .

WHAT WE DO WITH THE LIFE GOD LOANS/GIVES US

IS AT LEAST EQUAL TO THE LIFE ITSELF.

ONLY WHAT’S DONE FOR CHRIST WILL LAST ETERNALLY.

We aren’t put here for our own willy nilly selfish pleasures

though God is interested in us experiencing HIS ABUNDANT LIFE and HIS JOYs UNSPEAKABLE AND FULL OF GLORY as the song and Scriptures go.

We are being trained in this boot-camp to rule and reign with Christ . . . evidently over endless worlds and ages.

The old saw . . . as we wander through life, keep our eyes upon the doughnut and not upon the hole is particularly important in these areas of values.

The globalists/liberals/Marxists would have us swallow the deception from hell that

IF IT FEELS GOOD—DO IT—THERE ARE NO CONSEQUENCES beyond personal pleasure. If power mongering is your pleasure, your orgasm—then, by all means, SHRILLERY, gopher baroque.

If Constitution shredding ruthlessness and tyranny are your addiction—more power to you . . .

seems to be the mantra of the liberals/globalists/Marxists as they have been through the eons regardless of the labels. Soddom and Gomorrah come to mind.

Babies routinely burned on the altars of Mollech (sp?) FOR CONVENIENCE. God was not the least bit amused and the cultures so rampant with that paid dearly, very dearly.

And God holds those WHO KNOW THE TRUTH to a higher standard than the idiots wallowing in such filth and destruction who’ve never learned nor been taught better.

The vast majority of FREEPERS are diligent about such priority values at home and out on the street. Thankfully so.

But sometimes I wonder . . . is there more we could do? So many major portions of our culture and Nation are still going to blazes in a hand basket and thinking it’s all Mardi Gras.

Are there ways we could change our considerable garden hoses into larger diameter fire hoses in this values, culture, survival war?

Are there ways we can at least strengthen one another that we may fight more fiercely and effectively vs shred each other so casually?

I don’t know that I have a lot of answers . . . just pondering out loud.

THANKS TONS, JIM, for this priceless forum. I often think in this era, more good has been done on FR for LIFE, for FREEDOM . . . for what used to be known as THE AMERICAN WAY . . . than in a long list of universities combined the last decade or 3.

May we, as Scripture says, “Not grow weary in well doing . . . “

The Battle is certainly not over.

However, we do well to keep in mind also . . . THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S. THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE ARE NOT CARNAL . . . but prayer, right living . . . to the pulling down of strongholds, spiritual powers in high places . . . pulling the strings of the clueless.

And, there is also plenty of time and place for us to put legs to our prayers with practical actions, as well. Thankfully, FREEPERS are amongst the best at that.

LUB,
BLPH,
Qx

I think the 800 lb gorilla in the middle of the room is this:
If Rudy is nominated, it will mean the Grand Old Party of the past will be split permanently :*( and a new, truly conservative party will arise from those ashes—I don’t necessarily mean a Christian party, or such, but one that adheres to the true values the Republican party used to hold so dear. Grassroots voters still have the power to affect the election—word could be gotten out about the most conservative candidate that the majority would agree on—I believe that the people of America, those who don’t follow politics, but follow their hearts, will do the right thing.
Hillary ain’t it, despite her campaign’s efforts to paint her in a ‘centrist’ light—people aren’t stupid. And I still believe that God is in control and will do His will for America’s best interests.

Huh? So by NOT voting, you (or Ann Coulter) are helping to elect a pro abortion candidate who is anti-gun, stood by while her husband mistreated women and defended the slug and is about as self serving as they come.....???

You must be an idiot. A vote can only be cast for the candidate you cast it for. A vote not cast is simply not cast. Normally, a GOP candidate that displeased me might make me consider simply not voting on the presidential ballot but voting the remainder for other offices. Or I could cast a vote for a third-party whose candidate's name I can't recall a week later. But Rudi on the ballot is an invitation for me just to stay home completely for the first time ever. And I've never even seriously considered it before.

BTW, I also would not cast a vote if Rudi and Hillary both advocated the extermination of Jews. Or blacks. Or American Indians. And for the same reason: I will not vote for fundamentally immoral candidates who advocate a genocide. Ever. If you don't like it, go screw yourself because I simply don't care what moral defectives like you think and if you think voting for babykillers is fine, then I think you personally deserve and have asked for all the hell that four or eight more years of the Xlintons will bring you. Believe me, you will suffer far more of it than I will.

My vote belongs to me and I cast it only for candidates who are not moral lepers.

And, BTW, the argument can easily be made that Hillary is actually slightly more conservative than your evil leftwing mayor. She never got the NARAL endorsement and the NARAL money. She didn't cross party lines on gun control like Rudi did when he went to war on gunowners.

Any society that stands by silently while 3500 babies per day are murdered does not have the moral authority to lead the free world.

True, very true. I hear Malta is a staunchly Catholic nation...I bet abortion is illegal there. What if they lead the free world? Oh, and I bet they secure their borders too...
