Interestingly, the biggest pro-life victory has been the ban on Partial-Birth abortion...however, that also didn’t reduce the number of abortions by a single one.

I do find it interesting how non-Christians interpret what Christian leaders say. Perhaps when you turn to Christ you’ll interpret his expressing his opinions differently.

Um Rudy would end the requirement that the Republican candidate has to be pro-life.

I hope Rudy doesn't become the nominee, but if he is, I certainly hope the conservatives stay engaged. I guess they "showed us" when they walked out of the last election. I'm sure there is a principle here...I'm just not agreeing that maryrdom is the best strategy.

While that is probably a very true statement, the fact is the majority of Americans are not obsessing about the issue for the elections. It will not be at the top of the agenda for which the majority vote. Just a fact IMO.

There will be times when God-fearing people have to stand up together for what is right in the eyes of the Lord - even in the face of ridicule or tremendous pressure to back down.
When we are getting such pressure even from those who are part of our group, we realize that the time is urgently upon us & we cannot back away from the fight.
Victory is close at hand if we will pray for God’s guidance and stand together.

I am commenting only on the raw statement. Regarding abortion, well, my comment is not about abortion, which I am against in all cases except to save the LIFE of the mother.
