"I speak for at least half the people here, including the Founder Jim Robinson, who has stated he will not vote for Giuliani under any circumstance."

Agree.

NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE

Don't Cut and Run, vote pro-life every time. It's the way you always win.

Wow Jim, are you saying that calling people “abortionists” if they don’t agree with your method to eliminate abortions isn’t an effective strategy? Whodda’ thunk it???

I’m starting to no longer wonder why the pro-life movement has had such a small impact (or no impact) on reducing abortion over the past several decades given the tactics displayed here.

Maybe if they spent less time talking down their noses to everyone, demeaning and calling names, they might sway a few people to realize the abomination abortion is. All it took for me was seeing my first baby in the womb at 2 weeks gestated. THAT changed everything.

Didn’t know that. So we have actual, unrepentant baby killers around here? Revolting!! I feel dirty being around them!

We saw our baby’s heartbeat (couldn’t hear it yet, but saw it on ultrasound) at 14 days gestated.

And I’ll still vote Rudy if it’s him.

I realize that common courtesy is difficult for liberals, but it is the norm around here to ping someone when you are talking about them.

If Hillary wins becomes president, the religious right will be fed to the left in order to appease them as to what needs to be done to stop islamofascism. Kind of a trade. (”all religions are bad”). Rudy respects your right to exist & worship as you please. The left doesn’t. Watch & see.

Give your eyes a break. If you’re running Windows XP, turn on ClearType font smoothing.

Actually it is 'Nobody by that name'.

Too bad, there aren't all that many fellow Finns around here!! Not a good idea to call the site owner a Taliban as I warned him.

If you look just below the buttons on the 'Posting Comment' page it says:
'Please: NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts.'. If you continue to post that way, you will go to wherever Finnman69 is!!

Free Republic is a PRIVATE web forum. ONLY the government can censor, what Jim and the moderators do is remove posts that are offensive to the FReepers, the state purpose of FR or violate a policy. There IS NO censorship here.

I read the context of your post. I'm very sorry for that person's loss but what happened to his wife isn't really part of the abortion debate and never was.

For starters the operation to save a woman's life described in that post isn't considered an abortion in medical terms. When a doctor is faced with saving a pregnant woman's life and the pregnancy itself is a complicating factor unless the fetus is too immature to possibly survive outside the womb he/she will view both mother and child as patients and do everything possible to save them both. That is a quantitative difference in intent from abortion where the primary goal it to kill the baby.

You can let a small minority of Pro-Life people who support a position that never was the law and is only theoretically an issue in a possible future beyond the end of Roe v. Wade push you away from supporting life over destruction of life if you want to. That is your choice. I prefer to deal with the here and now not what ifs.

Rudy respects your right to exist

Unless of course you are one of the 3500 babies who are murdered EVERY DAY with Rooty Toot's explicit support.

Abortion is down over 20% from its peak. In fact, abortion dropped LESS in NYC under Rooty Toot than it did in the rest of the country during the same time period.

Yes, I know. It didnt do any of those things however. I was trying to make the strongest Pro-life statement of all. It was an indictment of us all, not any one person. Most of us are guilty of not doing enough. Sorry, no intent to offend but trying to broaden the discussion. I guess it didnt need broadened......

I’m trying to figure out what your agenda is, because it CANNOT be to win people over to the pro-life cause. Your behaviour is repellent and you are swaying no one. Not a very effective tactic.

If the scenario plays out as it looks like it will, Rudy wins nomination but loses the general to Hillary, the prolife movement specifically & the Christian right in general will be obliterated. The same would not happen under Rudy. That’s how I see it, and I think we’ll get a chance to see who is right. Now, how many babies will that save?
