I think the smart thing to do is sign the statement, then continue to parent in the way you feel is best.

However, it is not a Christian thing to do to claim you will do something knowing full well that you will not. That is likely why this couple didn't just go that route.

This is the path that we are on now. If we continue down this road, ministers will not be allowed to preach the gospel from their pulpits because it would be deemed to be anti-this or anti-that. Sure, you say old Raybob is engaged in hyperbole, but look where we are now... is it so far fetched to think that the Bible, because it contains statements about homosexuality as wrong, will become a banned book because it promotes inotlerance of poeple based on their sexuality?

Personally, I don’t think deceiving one’s enemies is un-Christian in the least.

To liberals/ Secular humanists, we are merely animals, no more no less, the concept of a soul is (to Secular Humanists) “A quaint relic of a bygone stone age religion”.

Even an ox shows more understanding then those persons do.

The UK does need prayer, it also needs to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Liberalism is as big a threat as radical islam.

Why do you think God has allowed Radical Islam to flourish...he is using them as a scourge aginst our increasingly Godless society.

That is true, this couple seems to be devout, so such an action would violate their conscience (and mine or anyone else’s).

The UK “state” will eventually force serious Christians underground or below ground in the UK. John Wyclife redux.

There is such a history of that happening in the UK though, in a way, the prospect does intrigue me at least.

Congregations meeting in homes and out of the way country Churches and all on the quiet, it is a real possibility IMO.

Breaking the law is certainly against Christian principles as set out in the Bible.

Titus 3:1-15 (New International Version) Doing What is Good 1Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, 2to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.

“Personally, I don’t think deceiving one’s enemies is un-Christian in the least.”

Isn’t that the same principle that Islam teaches?

Please say a prayer for Great Britain

Lord, please save Great Britain and the defenseless orphans there from this evil. Please smite those who knowingly do harm to children or encourage perverse sexuality to children. Smite them, Lord. In Jesus' name I pray.

Sadly, such 'underground' congregation members would also be barred from legally and openly adopting foster children  I'm sure that any parent, Foster or otherwise, prefers to raise their children in the open sunshine.

One expects such things in Red China or Saudi Arabia, but Great Britain?  It's utterly heartbreaking to even consider such a prospect.

And with this endless, oppressive, sick Governmental focus on homosexuality, one would naturally expect Government agents to try to infiltrate such congregations on the pretext that they are "abusing children" by refusing to indoctrinate them into the "homosexual lifestyle".

Sadly Stoat, that “new” law (actually it’s no different then what Paul wrote about) mandates a pretty stiff prison sentence if it is violated.

So agents attempting to infiltrate a congregation that dares to speak out on Homosexuality will find itself with the NeoThought Police in their midst.

Orwell was right, he merely about the wrong country.

And that is sad that parents cannot teach their children the moral view of homosexuality and have them engage in the debate from our perspective the “new’ UK will not allow that to occur.

I gather that you have never encountered a traditional artistic representation of an Angel before?

No, it is true, and sadly we may have lost sight of how much the Homosexual Mafia is dedicated to chasing Christ out of the public square of ideas.

Smoke up and Prayers for our UK Bretheren, may the faithful remain faithful in face of difficulties, may those who oppress see the error in their way and repent so Christ may be preached openly and honestly.

I find this story strange and suspect. How on earth do they require people to attend meeting about promoting homosexuals. I think it is only required if the kid turns out gay. Otherwise you don’t have to attend the meetings. These people should have just sign the paper and see how the kid turns out. The whole episode could be mute if they raised him right.
