Greg F, the GOAL of the new law/re-education is to drive Christian Foster Parents out of the system. Liberals care not one whit about “the children” it’s all about the agenda for them, that is so Neo-Stalinist it is frightening to think about actually. Stoat asked for prayers for the UK and I can see why, the System is their opponent now, and it won’t ever stop.

I agree, except, God willing, with the idea that it won't ever stop. I think it's time for Christians to fight politically or face real persecution long term.

Christendom is on the ropes in the UK, it’s be denuded by compromise and rationalism, now the Secular Humanists are advancing their agenda and they have the support of the masses.

The honest and regenerating Gospel has been replaced largely with a cerebral faith that doesn’t believe the Bible as written, but reduces everything to Allegory.

It’s sad really.

In England, a nonconformist church is any protestant church not CofE.

I know from reading “The Daily Mail” and other newspapers online that there are plenty of sensible people in Great Britain. Unfortunately, the ones in power don’t seem to be among them.

they hate our freedom.
my ass.
they hate our freedom with its ghetto morals straight out of the hood.
they hate our movies with the obligatory sex scene at every twist in the plot.
Our freedom tows the line for their Satan.
It is high time for some introspection of our abortion ridden culture.
I would love to protect my children from our trash culture.
Could I blame a muslim Father from doing the same?
God Bless us all.
EVERYONE.

Hey, even here in Tennessee people who care for foster children have to attend numerous meetings and classes to be catechized in the latest child development paradigms and sign papers pledging your adherence to all kinds of bien-pensant theories including, by now I'm sure, the child's right to his own sexuality and gender expression.

That's one of the main reasons that people don't want to adopt children through state agencies: to adopt, you have to first participate in the foster program; and to participate in the foster program, you have to perjure yourself pretending to agree to all their child-raising theories.

My husband wouldn't cooperate with this past meeting #1.

Historically, everybody was at one time obliged to join the Anglican Church. All other Protestants were called “non-conformist.” And for several centuries Catholicism was, of course, out of the question.

Maybe the European homosexuals are trying to get even for being called (Faggot) This word has a historic meaning.

Homosexuals have a bad history in Europe.
It is a real interesting read

“Please, what is that picture of the woman with wings?” — John Leland

“I gather that you have never encountered a traditional artistic representation of an Angel before?” — Stoat

Interesting. From what source does this representation take such a form?

In the Scriptures, saraphim have wings. Cherubim have wings. Angels never appear among men with wings.

In the Scriptures, without exception, every appearance of an angel is male. One never appears as a participant at the Academy Awards.

One comment on the photo: sometimes, people who grown old together do tend to look like each other.

Now for the subject matter: I hope Britian and Canda aren’t glimpses of the USA 20 years fro mnow. But I think our populace is also becoming complacent to big government intrustion as long as it’s “well meaning.” Death by manners and complacency, plus an addiciton to the government dole, be it funneling tax money back home or whatever homogenized trickery.

This story is still making me angry a day after I read it.

You know if 1 million committed Christians in the United States put 5% of thier family income in one year out of 4, 1.25% each year, it would total about 4 billion dollars. That would swamp the political process, I think. I think we jaw, jaw and don’t war, war.

True Greg F, but “who” to donate money to to advance our cause?

I think it is most effective through individual choice. The problem with any organization that directs it is that it becomes corrupted and works against our interests at some point (think the Republican National Committee). Be smart (how’s that for advice?).

I’ve been sort of mulling over in my mind that we can probably win back the country with very little sacrifice right now . . . 1%, 2%, if enough of us act, whatever is required, of our income and some of our time. Our kids may actually face persecution, forced indoctrination of our grandchildren or great grandchildren, physical danger and abuse . . . if we don’t fight now.

I view tithing to a Bible based church as the best thing I can do for “my community” and “my people.” Political giving is in addition.

I think early money in primaries is the most effective political giving you can do for issue purposes. Most people don’t give early money . . . they don’t even know the candidates names early . . .

Off campaign year giving doesn’t to issue groups doesn’t get drowned out by the political spending in election years.

Just some thoughts.

We may be a bit past just politics Mrs. Don-o.

One of the main opponents of Christianities’s stay in the market place of ideas is DC Bureaucrats as well as Judges at the Federal Level and timid politicians at the local level.
