““The tip was supposed to have been paid in cash,” Now why would you pay the tab with a credit card and pay the tip in cash? Usually, the reason you do this is so the server can avoid claiming the tip as income.....”

I do this often. And for the record, it is none of my business if the waitress claims it as income or not. I leave the tip in cash so I can be sure she (he) gets it.

And BTW: The Clinton staff went back and left a $20 dollar tip on a $150 tab? What a bunch of cheap SOBs!

I always leave big tips for good service. Where I take my better half regularly we get treated like the king and queen.

Hillary Takes Flak over Tip [semi-satire]

Senator Hillary Clinton’s (D-NY) presidential campaign came in for some unpleasant criticism when it turned out that her entourage neglected to leave a tip for the waitresses that served them at an Iowa diner called the “Maid-Rite.”

The campaign’s contradictory explanations—first, that they thought the tip was included in the bill brought to the table, second that a $100 tip was put on a charge card, and third, that $100 in cash was left for the waitresses to split—has people wondering what to believe.

Clinton said she found the whole affair “confusing.” “How was I supposed to know the bill didn’t include a tip,” she complained. “I don’t normally eat at these kinds of places. I don’t carry money. I’m not accustomed to paying for my meals in such a crass fashion.”

The Democratic presidential candidate said that the incident helps dramatize the “wretched state of the economy under the Bush Administration.” “The uncertainty and inconsistency of compensation in our economy is the real source of the problem. In an ideal world the government would assure that everyone’s needs are met. It is my pledge to the American people to work toward that ideal once I’m president. In the meantime, let’s not quibble over spare change. Others will tip this woman now that I’ve made her famous.”

If THIS is the best we can do against this murderess, then it's going to be a very long four years.

We know it's not "the best", however I think there's merrit in smacking her upside the head so frequently that she can't keep up with the attacks.

We know she crumbles under pressure, so TURN IT UP!!!

Payback is a bi-@tch, Hillary, just like you...LOL!

Respectfully its not right on schedule. I checked and Rove planned the self destruction for after the primary season was done and Hillary was the nominee.

Schedule’s been moved up.

Too much possibility of serious damage to the nation’s health the longer this thing goes on!

You hit it on the head here.

For Democrats, their soul tells them that it is important to help those in need. They quiet this irritating inner voice by asking the government to force them to do it. Without the government forcing it, they do not take the action themselves.

Conservatives, on the other hand, listen to that inner voice, acknowledge it, and understand it as something that is being required of them on an individual basis. They help those in need, without requiring the threat of being forced to do so. Our ultimate judgement is not going to be collective, but individual (refer to the parable of the talents.) It is why Democrats talk of helping the little people, when in reality they can not do it on an individual basis. They must be forced to do it, but they are willing to be forced to do it by an entity that they look up to: Government, their false god. It is why Hillary doesn't tip. It's not being forced on her to do so...yet.

In part, you are correct. But...in the lexicon of her failed life, her willingness to commit grevious crime(s) without a pause, her immorality, her ability to lie, cheat, and obfuscate...thiis is exactly the kind of "small, insignificant" action that her staff loves. It deflect our attention from that which really matters.

She knows that; her staff knows that.

Would that we knew it also.

Unfortunately, this doens't even touch her. Her staff is laughing at us...in the nature of "is that all you got?"

With all of the grieveous and criminal activities in which she revels, why is this so important?

"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!"

The psychology of the average liberal is such that they want to help the less fortunate but they can’t stand the fact that you have more than the less fortunate so they enable the government to take from you to give to the poor. Liberals want to give to the poor, but with your money, not theirs...

I do this. I just don't want the waiter/ess to think that they have been stiffed when they come to clear the table.
