I read the head tree-sitter is not a local. He came from Texas just for the protest.
I also heard the oaks are not old growth. They are ornamental trees planted at the same time the stadium was constructed.

Nathaniel Hill, the fallen tree-sitter, was moving on the traverse line to meet his father, Carl Hill, who had come from the east coast to visit his son. I guess it's true what they say about the nut not falling far from the tree.

Of course there is no Old Growth in San Fagcisco. In addition they topped the trees to make them more habitable which will kill them in a couple years anyway.
