Hillary Clinton to speak at Rick Warren's church

Senator Hillary Clinton (D-New York) will join Rick Warren at his California church this month for an AIDS conference.

Warren says he has invited several other presidential candidates from both parties to attend his third annual Global Summit on AIDS, but Senator Clinton is the only one, so far, to confirm. According to a press release, others who have expressed interest and currently are dealing with scheduling issues include GOP presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, and Rudy Giuliani, and Democrats John Edwards and Senator Barak Obama (D-Illinois).

According to Warren, "Inviting politicians from different perspectives to the Summit is not a political decision -- it is a humanitarian and Christian action." The Summit is scheduled for Nov. 27-Dec. 1 at Saddleback Church, Warren's church in Lake Forest, California.

Obama was one of the speakers during Warren's Global Summit on AIDS last year, as was Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kansas) who last month withdrew from the GOP presidential competition.

True but that only solution is very much appreciated by the sick among us.

If you do not understanding the difference between sharing the gospel with a witch on the fast track to eternal condemnation and letting evil mount a pulpit in a “house of worship” to spew humanistic garbage, than pray for discernment.

If Warren wants to do something about the African AIDS problem, he can feel free to help our little 300 person church send 30 people to Swaziland this year again, like we did on our own last year (that’s right FRiend, we tithed OUR CHURCH). For Warren, the materials we paid for ourselves and our travel costs would be a small dent in petty cash. Instead, he is giving pulpit time to a communist that has a solution — “We will take things away from you for the common good.” About as far from heart based ministry and cheerful giving as you can get. Jesus would not stoop to stealing from the unwilling to support a “cause”.

Rent a clue. Warren is a false and failed leader.

So let me understand your position...if a man is starving and you have no access to food but you know a lost rich man who does....your position is that the you should not ask the rich man to feed the starving man because the rich man is lost. Therefore the starving man must die. Is that your position?

"Is it not wonderful the Jesus does not exclude the sleazy people....maybe you were once a sleazy person"

Rick Warren is not Jesus. However, Jesus did get angry when he cast the moneychangers out of the temple. Do you think that there may be discussions about raising money to send condoms to Africa to help prevent AIDs at this meeting?

If Hildabeast666 were ever put on trial for being a Christian, she would be acquitted due to lack of evidence.

Golly Gee! Will Joy Behar bring up Seperation of Church and state today over this?

Too bad Elizabeth's on maternity leave. She would bring it up. The others would try to shout her down. Babwa would admonish her and plead for calm. Guests would refuse to come on because of Elizabeth's 'extremism'. It would be an entertaining week. Joy won't even bat an eyelash, nothing to see here. Now, if it were an 'evil' Republican...

Yep.

The View doesn’t seem to realize what they are reinforcing by always having a minimum three to one ratio with the ‘conservative’ always being on the short side.

Same goes for that idiot midget, big time hypocrite, Bill Maher come to think of it.

False choice. There is plenty of Christian humanitarian work going on around the world, all without the benefit of input or help from the likes of Hillary and Obama. Speaking of which, just what are Hillary and Obama’s great humanitarian accomplishments? Blowing lots of self-aggrandizing hot air, taking credit for the work of others, and donating Bubba’s used underwear to Goodwill and taking a tax deduction for it don’t count.

I have no respect for the man. I can’t understand his popularity. He, too, is a micro-managing do-gooder who has become a shill for the Democrats. Shame on him for giving a podium to such a deceitful, scheming witch.

Well, it is not like we Calvinists haven’t been warning people about the methods of Saddleback for some time. Perhaps, now, instead of getting the tired mantra of “Calvinists hate everything and everyone,” they might actually listen to us.

Many people have been seeing what a fraud he was since he released Purpose Driven Church in 1992 (he had a large prerelease however in the years before that).

This guy is amazingly blatant now in the apostate road he’s been traveling down since them.

BTW he’s also a traitor to the cause of Christ by preaching “another” gospel.

if a man is starving and you have no access to food

Are you reading your own drivel? If I have no access to food then I WOULD BE the starving man, would'nt I?

Here's another clue -- If you have to twist your logic into a mobius strip of non-sequitars to justify your position, there is probably something quite wrong with what you are trying to justify.

If Warren is concerned with AIDS in Africa, than perhaps a cut of his book deals could be routed there.

If her Thighness Chthulu wants to help with the African AIDS problem, I'm sure our church could find a place for her on our next mission tripto Swaziland. As long as she is willing to get in line and obey our pastor unquestioningly and know her place a follower, not as some one that should be thought of as important.

But letting an ally of the evil one himself, a proven liar and hater, get up in a church and spew is so far beyond anything that can be squared in the christian faith that it is mind boggling to me that anyone would say "What's the problem?"

< shaking head incredulously >

He’s nothing more than a liberal hippie in a conservative sheep’s clothing, espousing Global Warming and all the other liberal causes. What should anyone expect from an old hippie?
I hope he loses his IRS tax exempt status for this. I intend to file an official complaint, everyone here should do the same.
