Hillary Clinton -- Ominous Signs of Cracks in The Foundation.
Vanity Press ^ | 11-20-07 | cww

Call me a skeptic, but I don’t see Hillary Clinton as the eventual democrat party nominee for President. Although she may have a well oiled campaign machine, she is still an unlikable person, and unlikable people do not generally win the presidency. I have always believed that next to ideology, likeability is a key factor to election success. Americans want to like their President. Mrs. Clinton is simply not likeable, and as this campaign progresses rapidly over the next two months, the thinness of her support will become self-evident.

We already can see some of the tell-tale signs. For example, Barak Obama has recently pulled ahead of Clinton in two Iowa caucus polls, with opposing voters citing her lack of trustworthiness. Incredibly, Obama even outpolled Hillary among women in one recent Iowa poll.

Second, and more significantly, I heard Larry Sabato comment today that Hillary has not broken the 30% number in any national poll among democrats. Let me repeat – Hillary barely has the support of 30% of her own party. This, in my opinion, is critical evidence showing that Hillary has a glass jaw and her support is a thin as cheap egg drop soup.

Everything about her campaign is tightly controlled and micromanaged. There are not unguarded moments; no impromptu press conferences; no extemporaneous speeches. She is a robot with a script and comes across as such. And the more you see of her, the less you like. She simply does not wear well over time.

Obama will likely win Iowa, and that, my friends, will result in a week of headlines questioning the conventional wisdom of Hillary’s coronation. Hillary obviously fears this result and has started dumping more money and resources into the State to shore up her support. Can you imagine the headlines the morning after the Iowa caucus if Hillary loses Iowa (and the women’s vote) to Obama?!! No matter how she tries to marginalize any loss in Iowa, the new story will be her perceived lack of invincibility.

Clearly, if Iowa turns, then there is a strong chance that New Hampshire will turn for Obama too. The polls in that state are already tightening. She basically has a 10 to 13 point lead, but again can only seem to garner 36% of the democrat vote.

Momentum is an amazing thing. Ask Howard Dean, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Despite Hillary Clinton’s lead among democrats in national polls, the nomination must be won state by state. And Iowa and New Hampshire may spell the beginning of the end for Hillary. There is a tinge of blood in the water, and the media sharks and democrat party operatives know it. Hillary is simply is not likeable.

Whenever Hillary speaks to an audience, the audience have their mouths gaping open, drooling, looking like braindead zombies.

The only thing that is saving Hillary! is that there are two-and-a-half anti-Hillary! candidates in the Democrat Primary. Once that begins to shake up, and the anti-Hillary! vote gravitates to main challenger, Hillary! could be in real trouble.

Nobody is pulling the lever for Edwards, Obama or Richardson because they like any of these guys. They are all just voting against Hillary!.

I would be very surprised. She is a lock no matter how the MSM tries to spin it. And the MSM continues its 2 to 1 coverage of the Dem race making the Rep primary almost an after thought. Mission accomplished.

I agree — Obama will benefit from Edwards’ ultimate demise. Democrat voters have known Hillary for at least 16 years. If they don’t support her now, then Obama stands to pick up those votes as the field narrows.

That’s what they said about Howard Dean until he made an ass of himself in Iowa, literally!

O’Bama says the Big O (Oprah) is going to campaign for him in Iowa. That should do it for him. Hillary’s baggage is weighing her down, and the press doesn’t seem to be as afraid of her. There is more to come, I hope.

Never!
She will do the “ultimate sacrifice”....whatever that may be to try and get the Oval Office.
Nobody is safe at this point.
