Are you going to vote in the November 2008 election no matter who wins the Republican primary?

Posted on 11/25/2007 5:29:03 PM PST by cradle of freedom

I would like to know if you are going to vote in the November 2008 election even if your candidate does not win. Will you stay home if you don't like the Republican candidate?

Another thing that I have often wondered about is whether people actually stay home when they are disheartened. News commentators often say that some voters may have decided to stay home because they were not happy with the candidates. I think that is a mistake because even if you do not like the person at the top of the ticket you should at least vote for the other candidates. Have you every actually stayed home and not gone to the polls at all because you were not happy with a candidate?

In November, 2008, I will vote for any of the realistic GOP candidates except Rudy. If Rudy wins the nomination, I will not just stay home. I will vote AGAINST him.

If anyone other than Hunter or Fred is nominated I’ll write in my own name.

I agree with you .. we cannot stay home - no matter who the repubs choose as the nominee.

The very thought of 4 to 8 more years of Bubba is just too much to bear.

Why write you own name when you can write Hillary?

If the candidate is Rudy, Romney or Huckabee, the answer is no. We end up voting for republicans only to accuse them of being RINO’s which is exactly what a lot of conservatives have been calling these guys.

I did once after George "read my lips" Bush blew his four years in office. Didn't like the results.

Ron Paul would make it really hard to vote for anyone. Either candidate will actively work to surrender in the WOT. He is better that HRC domestically--I'm a big fan of genuinely smaller government. But we have to win the war for there to be a "domestic." And, his foreign policy nonsense makes me question his judgment across the board. Who knows what amazing things he'll come up with if he were president.

Other than that, I'll hold my nose and vote for whomever the R's put up.

Hillary! will be the Democrat.
I always vote, no matter what, but this time, I’d brave a tornado followed by a blizzard to to vote against her.

Living in the People’s Republic of California, I don’t think it matters if I vote for the ‘pubblie or not. This degraded state’s electoral votes are gonna go to the ‘crat no matter what I do on election day.

Scariest phrase in the english language after “President Hillary” - “Rangle’s passed tax plan”.
