I thought ‘cougars’ simply referred to older women on the prowl for younger men? I didn’t know that it referred to the woman’s looks in a negative way.

I have a friend who is in her 50’s, extremely attractive and married to a guy that is 14 years younger than she. I kid her and told her about the term ‘cougar’.
