The rumour of a lesbian love affair appears to have been been started in August 2007 by the New York freesheet, the Village Voice. Vast right wing conspiracy my ever expanding luminous when bare @$$!

Kathleen Willey even quoted Bill as saying she probably gets more [expletive] than I do Jennifer Flowers was quoting Bubba. And, the expletive was "p**sy.

Great collection of material... especially your FR exclusive "Huma Abedin & Hillary Clinton - Who is Funding Huma Abedin's Lifestyle?" On the subject of this thread, the most telling fact - originally from observer.com's pro-Hilary fluff piece "Ms. Abedin never sweats" - is the following:
"Ms. Abedin began working for Mrs. Clinton as an intern for the then First Lady in 1996."LINK
Now take that with the following Bill White House intern fact:
"... in 1995... Lewinsky moved to Washington, D.C., where she worked at the White House as an intern starting in July, getting a paid job there in November." "Between 15 November 1995 and 7 April 1996, Lewinsky had a relationship with the President."
LINK
Coincidental timing?
No, I think this revealing beginning, of how and when Hillary became "acquainted" with her now live in companion, should be ample evidence of what both Clintons think WH interns are for. She knew about Bill and she was getting some of her own.

“Hillary Clinton’s campaign team are furious that an unsubstantiated rumour of a lesbian affair . . .”
Shouldn’t they be adding, “. . . not there is anything wrong with that.”?
I mean, aren’t they pissing off their gay-lesbian-transgender-undetermined-bestiality-pedophilia base by being so angry at the mere suggestion?

Ha! There is nothing bush league about this thread. It has some cream of the crop posts.

Another non-denial denial I see.
Which makes me wonder: If it's not true, why not just come out with an unequivocal denial...?

Excellent point. I've suspected this is a phony story floated by Hillary herself as a deliberate distraction, and your observation certainly would be a motive.

The Clinton Camp knows how to generate theatrical outrage. Its most likely time for them to play the victim card for awhile.

I've suspected this is a phony story floated by Hillary herself as a deliberate distractionI've thought about that possibility, but I don't think so -- if the Klintoon camp wanted to get this 'news' out there themselves to defuse it early, I think they would have waited until immediately after she had secured the Dim nomination.
It would be reckless for them to time the release of that information at this point in the Primary when she is already having some difficulties with Obama rising in the polls.
The Klintoon machine is very calculating but definitely not reckless.
