US President George W. Bush said on Monday he supported Russian shipments of nuclear fuel to Iran for civilian power, saying they proved that Teheran has no need to enrich uranium.

"If the Russians are willing to do that, which I support, then the Iranians do not need to learn how to enrich. If the Iranians accept that uranium for a civilian nuclear power plant, then there's no need for them to learn how to enrich," Bush said

Iran received the first shipment of nuclear fuel from Russia on Monday for its Bushehr reactor, the official Iranian news agency IRNA reported.

Russia has been assisting the Iranians in the construction of the nuclear power plant.

I read this book this year also....but my last customer service call to “India” has led me to believe his conclusions are off track. The outsourcing to these foreign lands is becoming a bigger and bigger joke...so much so that consumers are getting rid of services because of it.

Hmmm, maybe Iran’s plan with Iraq worked. Keep causing kaos till the USA buckles.

In other words, maybe the decline of violence in Iraq is the result of a back door deal with Iran and Russia. Quit f’ing with Iraq and we’ll stop the war mongering about Iran having nukes. Thn have Bush say the CIA does not like me so they put out this report saying Iran is not pursuing nukes...making th CIA take the heat for “weakening Bush’s hand” regarding the back off of Iran and Nukes.

things just don’t add up lately and the above seems to make total sense to me.....hope I am wrong.

I hear ya, Mr. President. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that our President is wearing sunglasses while playing a poker hand.

They can enrich right now — that’s what all those centrifuges are for. ==

No they cann’t. Russian nuclier fuel is made from Plutonium. Only 3 country in the world which can handle it. Russia, United States and France.

Why, are we supposed to trust the Russians to only ship civilian grade material?==

Funny:). Then you should be afraid what if Russia exported them just one missile SATAN with 20 neclier warheads 200KT each. It is much easier then to mess with some Uranium enrichment:).

To me it’s all about “follow through” and that seems to be coming up short. My Middle East disappointments are many.

Sure seems like it. It’s a very interesting day. I see it played down by some.

Well, once a reactor is fueled it can’t be struck militarily without causing a meltdown. That little fact seems to escape a minor few.

Yes, that's true. They'd better not get it wrong. And when it's crazy mullahs, I figure their end-time goal never changes. Anything in between is smokescreen or tricks.

[Importers and merchants, considering higher oil and subsequently higher freight fuel prices along with a lower dollar, go into their closets and raise their hands.] Excellent! Their slogan, shouted softly in the closet: "Yes Blood for Oil!!!"

"Funny:). Then you should be afraid what if Russia exported them just one missile SATAN with 20 neclier warheads 200KT each."

"SATAN" is not only the perfect description for one Moscow's most deadly ICBMs, but would also fit for Russia's new dictator-for-life.
