finally ! a conservative speaks !

if Romney is simply the first of the shameful idiots to speak before the current administration has done so, it shows him (and anyone else who would do so) as unfit for office imho

naked raw ambition is about as ugly as it gets

hell i don’t care if clinton was still in office

the president of the united states speaks first ffs

. I’d bet state of emergency will be declared again. Mussharaf was...where?

What difference does it make. If done at his behest, he would probaby be in his official residence or at the Defence Ministry.

That said, there's too much down side for him to have done this. It'll probably end with him dead as well, or force to flee the country. Then who'll control the nukes?

Mussharaf, like the House of Saud, tried to appease the tiger, in hopes it would eat them last. It rarely works out that way, but even if it does, you still get eaten.

I think Sharif is probably heavily involved with the attack on Bhutto, and probably staged the attack at his own rally. He is tied in with the Islamists and I don’t believe he had a lot of support, as a candidate. Now he is doing everything to try to point the finger at Musharraf and whip up support. If 48% of Pakistan already supports AQ, this shouldn’t be hard to do.

Musharaf is doing exactly what the Dems want us to do. Appease them and hope you don’t upset them enough to attack. Problem is they are already crazy and want death to Jews, Christians, Bhuddists and anyone not Mooselimb enough.

They will never like us no matter how loud we sing Kumbaya. They understand one language, death.

Religion of Peace alert.

Alternatively:

Politics Muslim style alert

I am telling you, as long as there is Islam there will NEVER be peace.

Before you throw out reckless charges, think about what you say. That is nonsense w/o proof. Highly unlikely he could find a suicide killer. AQ is the most likely suspect by a wide margin. Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters

No doubt that the opposition is responsible, but exactly which opposition or combination of, will be confirmed as being directly responsible.

The Tali-ban has tentacles throughout the Musharaff government, and AQ could only be in the cheering section.

We just don't know, and may well never know a name or description of the perps, but you can bet there will be a number of arrests, detentions and perhaps a few executions as Musharaff takes this opportunity to do a bit of house cleaning.

Thanks. Great find

It will be used in Iowa for sure.

U.S. first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton with her daughter Chelsea, left, and Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, holding hands with her son Bilawal and daughter Bakhtawar, take a stroll in this March 26, 1995 file photo, in the garden of the prime minister's residence, in Islamabad.

I suspect that this entire region will never know peace unless they know Christ. This religion of theirs is built upon violence. The possibility of civil war is now all too real.

If the wrong people take power then there is a real risk that an India/Pakistan war is just around the corner. All those american companies that have moved jobs to India may live to regret that decision.

Karachi, 27 Dec. (AKI) - (by Syed Saleem Shahzad) - A spokesperson for the al-Qaeda terrorist network has claimed responsibility for the death on Thursday of former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

“We terminated the most precious American asset which vowed to defeat [the] mujahadeen,” Al-Qaeda’s commander and main spokesperson Mustafa Abu Al-Yazid told Adnkronos International (AKI) in a phone call from an unknown location, speaking in faltering English. Al-Yazid is the main al-Qaeda commander in Afghanistan.
