No, Fred has just figured out how his alarm clock works and he might be awake by January 3. Given his low-energy, low-luster, under-the-radar campaign, he will be spending January 4 in Toast City, Iowa.

Fred’s plan better take into account an O.J. Jury dressed up as republican primary voters in Iowa.

Hopefully, as long as the rat primary is seen as competitive, it may mitigate against what you describe since they will need to tend to their own business.

Questionable record on crime.
No history of preventing a single terrorist act or of facing decisions that actually affect national security.
I agree with his position on constructionist judges.
I think he talks a good game on taxes but he was a MAYOR - call his record incomplete at best on that issue.

On most social issues he fails to make the grade as a moderate, much less as a conservative.

Electability is the game the MSM wants you to play. This is the GOP - decide for yourself who is best fit to serve the country - not based on what you think other people will do. This is a battle of ideas - the contest for power to implement those ideas is almost a year away. Sad that you seem to have abdicated priniples to what CNN tells you about who can actually win.

How do you square “less government” and “strict interpretation of the constitution” with his history on gun control? How do you square “tough on crime” with NYC being a sanctuary city under his tenure?

If bails of hail fall like a whale, the broken glass conservative will be at the polling place door, they'll vote with their values, and will not fail.

Having the holidays in the middle of the homestretch for this has made it all the more nerve wracking.

I'll be hitting that website frequently Monday afternoon.. hoping to see another point or two added to Fred and, MORE IMPORTANTLY, a few more off Huckabee.

Another poll this a.m. shows Huckabee dropping slightly and Romney in the lead; Fred third but a point above McCain.

I wouldn't be surprised Fred showing a strong third if not second, what with his momentum. The non-committed percentage remains high. But, time will tell.
