I thought the time was right to start up a live thread for results and comments about tonight, so here we are!

I completely agree...
I personally find it rather sad as a homeschooling parent myself that so many of my fellow homeschoolers have been duped by Huckabee. It’s so very sad.
Long time no freep, tol.
See ya’ soon on AI. :)
damn, Fred now at 14%.
“Who’d you vote for if you don’t mind me asking?”
Thompson.
“Fox sucks” Yes.
Yet they were all ready with their startling statistics and Megan Ryan was breathlessly telling us all about how many religious participants were out.
HEY! TOL from me and Cibbie.
Thus far, it seems to me that Thompson’s fair showing is the surprise of the evening. IF McCain can derail Romney in NH, it could be a Huckabee-McCain showdown. And who wants that? So maybe Thompson would become the alternative to McHuck. McCain must be the most disappointed of all the candidates tonight.
If this result holds it makes Super tuesday a total crapshoot. You will have Huck and Thompson battling down south, Romney McCain and Guiliani battling in the Moderate states.
I am really beginning to think that we may have a brokered convention.
They don’t call him a “Beltway Boy” for nothing.
The results send a clear message, MOST REPS DONT WANT HUCK!!!
i thought they started AFTER the Dems
I refuse to watch FOX anymore.
Let’s see that trend reverse.
The official amount is eleventy jillion dollars.
Eleventy jillion.
kewl!
Not from what I see.
What is the appeal with Huckabee though? Sheesh.
Richardson at 1.75% with 14% of the votes in. Love it that he’s tanking.
According to that site, things are REALLY close in the Dem Party:
Senator John Edwards : 33.06%
Senator Barack Obama : 32.20%
Senator Hillary Clinton : 32.14%
Okay.....I’m on it. Had to take a look at Fox now and then. Morbid curiousity you know....
As long ago as August the Special Report Roundtable were writing Fred off as “an actor” — somehow forgetting that Ronald Reagan was an actor. Their attitude toward Thompson (constantly staying they don’t understand the “reason” for his candidacy) has been puzzling to say the least.
i am switching back and forth on the cspan website. it is a riot.

Go fred!
Thanks and it will be interesting to see if the results trend to what you saw or what is being reported now.
LLS
Uhh .... Yeh .... that too.
Nam Vet
Watching the two Cpan’s I can not figure out how any channel can make any sense of any of this- Dem’s numbers should not be considered what a disaster!!
Republicans seem to be in much better order of assembly.
“Im not surprised by the attacks on Hucks faith. Its an easy target.”
It is. I don’t support him (I don’t care which politican wins this), but I find the attacks on his faith all too familiar. It’s also very telling that those who would attack a Christian wouldn’t dare bring up the issue if we were talking about a person of the mohammedan faith.
“It would do well to remember that Christians, in particular, often vote against their own welfare for ideals.”
And the secular “ideals” that they’re talking about are usually very transient.
but, It will be her? won’t it? LoL
Some folks should not get excited if the Huckester wins and not a trend as his state and Iowa in the general neighborhood. Both only have 3 million population and some of the same type of folks.
Outside of the general neighborhood and bible belt the Huckester would be luck to run 5th
Bottom line, a sure win for the Democrats in Nov.
I believe they started at the same time. But the Reps just announced a 13% vote increase at once.
Dem caucus is having a difficult time counting higher than 20. [They ran out of fingers and toes.]
LOL!
They are duped in that they can only “follow the outline”, educationally-speaking, and don’t bother with the “boring” details, which they equate with learning “dates” in history. In short, they are the cousins of the Carteroids thirty-two years ago. Still, Romney is no alternative.
Heh, God Bless.
Truth is, they don’t even have a clue that Huck has the stamp of approval from the NEA.
I wonder if RATs are stepping over and voting for Huck in the caucus because they WANT him to be our candidate.
I know I will not vote for him.
I for one would like to see Christians fight back. Switching from Democrat to Republican would be one way. Another would be to stand up against the movie producers, newspapers, magazines, school boards, town councils etc. who have for far to long taken their money and then told Christians to take a hike.
(((((((( my fav newlyweds))))))))))
If FDT stays 3rd, he isn’t going anywhere!
Love that tagline, but I forgot the name of the movie.
Thanks for the link!
Everything on one page!
Plezzzzzzzz let the SHE-DEVIL stay in 3rd place!!!
ROFL!
Go FRed!!
So far Fred’s in a rather solid third, let’s hope he holds or finishes a bit better.
The men can count to 21.
Fred was #2 for just a minute and then they changed to numbers to 15% of the votes and he was back down. Still, he’s doing well.
Separated by ONE VOTE!
This may come down to the last primaries in June...
Thanks for the links!
