Hillary Clinton’s Thyroid, according to the February 20, 2001 article in the “Star” by Pat Gregor, Hillary Clinton’s recent decline in appearance is due to a thyroid problem. Hillary’s reps said her decline in appearance is due to hard work and not spending time in front of mirrors. Experts said her symptoms, which include fatigue, sluggishness, weight gain, cold intolerance, headaches, dull glaze, slightly bulging eyes, puffy face, and brittle hair, point to a thyroid disorder. The New York Thyroid Centers adds sensitivity to bright light to these symptoms. Their sources said that during her New York Senate campaign she had a prescription for 175 micrograms of Synthroid filled. According to a leading endocrinologist, Synthroid is the drug of choice when the thyroid, a gland in the neck, becomes underactive. Insiders close to Hillary said that she has been suffering from headaches and prior to the inauguration she had the window drapes drawn because the sunlight coming through was so painful that she was getting nauseous. It was also reported that her Senate colleagues were so concerned that she was suffering a chill, they asked if she wanted the thermostat turned up. A friend is quoted as saying “Hillary tends to ignore her health. She just pushes it back into the recesses of her mind and says she'll do something about it later. For years there have been persistent rumors about a mysterious diesease that will keep Hillary Clinton from making a run for The White House.
According to the tabloid report, Ms. Clinton’s overactive thyroid was a threat to her health and career. An unnamed source noted, “She has a puffy face, bags under her eyes and a vacant look.”
This report was issued right after the Monica Lewinski scandal broke. Sounds more like a reaction to her overactive husband’s gland rather than an underactive thyroid.
unfortunatley, i have this disease, which is called thyrotoxicosis, meaning one’s thyroid is unstable in it’s production of hormone. you can swing from massive production of the hormone to none at all. i know from personal experience that there have been periods in my life when i literally could not function and i mean that quite seriously. i could not run my household, let alone the country. she needs to reconsider.......
