but I am interested to know where he’s getting all the money it takes to run his campaign

Go to his website and you can see where the money is coming from, real-time. It comes from tens of thousands of individual doners, like me.

A typical politician, like all of the other presidential candidates, gets a lot of money from special interests. These "donations" are really payment for their future votes. Since Dr. Paul's votes are not for sale, he gets almost no money from lobbyists and other special interest groups.

This Soros thing is pretty ridiculous... Soros is a corrupt globalist. The last person on earth he'd want to see as president is Ron Paul. Soros buys and sells people - nothing scares someone like that more than an individual that can't be bought.

Why did Ron Paul file for re-election to his House seat?

Why not?

Ron Paul will never be president, I don’t care if you pump in $10 gazillion bucks. What he will do is siphen off fifteen to twenty percent of the vote from the republican nominee this November. And in light of Fred pulling out, I couldn’t care less.

Ron Paul will never be president

Never? The fix is in?

Or did you mean it's highly unlikely that he'll be prez? With that, I agree - I don't this country is, collectively, smart enough to elect Dr. Paul president. But if he doesn't make it, no one will say it was due to lack of effort on my part.

Good - none of the rest are deserving of the office anyway. And whatever percentage he gets, I will proudly be part of it.

That’s okay. I know there are a lot of folks that think along those lines. I’m not one of them and realize thankfully that there aren’t enough people who do to put him in office.

As soon as the primaries are over, it will be interesting to see how much actual support has come from the right side of the isle and how much has come from people who liked his ideas on Iraq from another party.

Actually, from what I understand, he was reluctantly "drafted" by supporters to run for prez, and only agreed to do so in order to get some of his ideas, thoughts and beliefs exposure on the national stage. He never thought he'd do as well as he has, and I guess he wanted another term or two in the House.

I made my first donation ever to a political candidacy yesterday: Ron Paul’s.

Ron Paul will have three votes from my household if he runs third party.
