Dont forget to mention the most whorendus energy bill McCain Leiberman that would devistate this country.
Romney is the best candidate available for beating the democRATS. McCain is the worst:
McCains the candidate of amnesty for illegal aliens.
McCain supports embryonic stem-cell research.
McCain has said I would not support repeal of Roe vs. Wade.
McCain opposed the Bush tax cuts, and refuses to sign the No New Taxes pledge.
McCain supports legislation that would increase taxes on energy.
McCain was the ring-leader of the Senate Gang of 14, which kept the then Senate Republican leadership from ending the ability of Democrats to filibuster Bushs judicial nominees.
McCain supports legislation to grant due-process rights to terrorists.
McCain sponsored the legislation which restricts free-speech rights of those involved in the political process, (the McCain/Feingold bill)
McCain is the guy who called evangelical-conservatives an evil influence on the Republican Party.
McCain was a member of the Keating 5 that caused a bipartisan scandal during the S&L meltdown.
McCain had a recall election ran against him by the conservatives in Arizona. Unfortunately it failed.
McCain blocked the investigation into whether Viet Nam and the Soviets were still holding over 600 of our missing POWs in 1990. (This is why many vets that know the issues have no use for John McCain).
Nope, your post is disgusting, as is your candidate, McShame.
Right you are. It’s about 5th on my list above, not that I listed them in order of importance.
Also don’t forget that McCain was involved in the multi-billion extortion racket against “Big Tobacco” in the late 90s. That’s when he lost me for good, and it’s been ever downhill for this crum bum since.
But there was one subject that was off-limits, a subject the Arizona senator almost never brings up and has never been open about -- his long-time opposition to releasing documents and information about American prisoners of war in Vietnam and the missing in action who have still not been accounted for. Since McCain himself, a downed Navy pilot, was a prisoner in Hanoi for 5 1/2 years, his staunch resistance to laying open the POW/MIA records has baffled colleagues and others who have followed his career. Critics say his anti-disclosure campaign, in close cooperation with the Pentagon and the intelligence community, has been successful. Literally thousands of documents that would otherwise have been declassified long ago have been legislated into secrecy.
If I ever doubt the ignorance of the voters all I have to do is read your posts. Of course, Romney had to spend money to get the name recognition that McCain with twenty some years being on TV every Sunday and all the puff piece in the MSM. If you can't figure that out you really are ignorant.
Never mind. I thought you meant someone else. (oops)
I wonder who's to blame for that? See post #58.
That is pretty ungrateful of old Soros isn't it?
See Post #58.
Is that Rudy in that pic?
For too many, it's soooooooo much easier to pile on Mitt Romney for using his own damn money to promote his candidacy. I have my issues with Mitt, but this is actually one of his advantages-- he's putting his money where his mouth is!
“Whats going on is the same since Iowa. Romney is trying to buy the election. Hes up on every station of any consequence in FL multiple times. Its disgusting.”
It’s not disgusting for conservatives who want to defeat McCain.
“Romney...lies about his alleged conservatism.”
You are lying.
“If voters wanted Mitt Romney he wouldnt need to self-fund.”
If voters wanted McCain, he’d have more votes. He don’t.
“What exactly is the problem with McCain raising money for his campaign?”
People don’t want to give money to his campaign.
For some reason, potential donors don’t like McCain’s 10 year middle finger to the party.
Ironically, this is known as “payback”.
Your post belongs in a McCain Truth File.
Or a run for the border.
McCain received more conservative votes and just more Republican votes in S.C. than Romney, who campaigned heavily in that state until two days before and spent millions more than McCain.
Ping us when it happens again. Hint: It won't. Look up "anomaly" in a dictionary. All that bullcrap about "South Carolina picks the nominee every time." Not this time.
Dont count Bloomberg out yet.
I think you are right on that score. He has the money and the ego for it. If we nominated an actual conservative, Bloomberg would presume to claim "the middle." Which would not IMHO affect the Republicans nearly as much as the Democrats, but in a weak field it certainly would have the potential for drawing more than Ross Perot.
I question whether Bloomberg would run against Romney, who would not leave Bloomberg thinking there was room in "the middle." Bloomberg would, I assume, respect the branding effect of the Republican nomination more than that - and would rue it if he didn't.
