The quote about “wanting to talk to God” was from a passenger on the flight who heard the pilot’s rant after he was removed from the flight deck. I doubt he would censor “Allah” and replace it with “God”.
I wouldn’t mind my pilot wanting to talk to God.
Now, if he wanted to visit him while I’m still on the plane ....

A little ridicule and humiliation is a good thing in American society. This whiner mentality with protection of immunity needs to be done away with. You screw up in public, make it known to everyone who you are. Turn the light on and embarrass these people, no more excuses for bad behavior.....

An airline pilot who forced a UK-bound jet to divert after suffering an apparent nervous breakdown is being comforted by his wife in a psychiatric ward in Ireland.
Air Canada is investigating the disturbance which forced the captain to land the Boeing 767 aircraft, en route from Toronto to London, at Shannon Airport.
The co-pilot, who was met by medical personnel, remains in psychiatric care after claims he had to be restrained on board by fellow crew members. The airline said a second pilot has accompanied the man’s wife to be by his side in a hospital in Ennis, Co Clare.

Since we are talking about a pilot who by requirements of his job has to pass physical examinations quite frequently, I do not quite believe that he just got ill gradually and on his own. When a healthy man suddenly gets ill like that it is wise to check his blood on presence of psychotropic drugs. It’s not too difficult for a cafeteria worker to give a pilot a cup of coffee with a tiny pill inside. In right circumstances this can crash the airplane.

Sounds like a mooselimb way for the wife to leave the home. With a male relative or trusted friend.
The aircraft was less than an hour from London when the first officer began “acting in a peculiar manner and talking loudly to himself”, according to one source.
Sean Finucane, a passenger on the flight, said the co-pilot “just wanted to talk to God”, adding: “He was yelling loudly but didn’t sound intoxicated.
“When they tried to put his shoes on later, he swore and threatened people. He was very, very distressed.”
The 149 passengers were taken to nearby hotels as the airline arranged for a replacement crew to be flown to Shannon to take the aircraft on to Heathrow, where it landed at 4.15pm on Monday, eight hours behind schedule.
Airport spokesman Eugene Pratt said the pilot requested a “medical diversion” but did not declare an official emergency.

This is a common whitewash. Just once, I would like this baal "Allah" to be credited with this madness, instead of the MSM jiggering the translation so that MY God gets the blame.

That is what I want to know — any reference to ALLAH? That would make this make so much more sense. And of course, since the Muzzies ARE mentally unstable, and they want to talk to Allah before they do their dastardly deeds, it would make perfect sense.

These details are not in the news, but that’s not unusual. But it is a variable worth knowing, and it has not been spoken one way or the other. And until I KNOW, I won’t know.
Frankly, if he is a Canadian, there is a good chance he IS. And a good chance that the Brits will not mention it until months later.
No, but thats exactly what a newspaper editor would do. One should never suppose an editor would be above bald faced lies, let alone changing a direct quote to suit himself.
