I believe that Dr. K. on the Panel said it brilliantly the other night: They hate him because he's rich, successful, a businessman and handsome.
And I'll add that he has a lovely wife of 40 years and great kids and grandkids.

Here is a joke that is too long for telling on stage:
Ben works hard and spends most evenings working out at the gym to stay fit. His wife, Betty, thinks he is pushing himself too hard. So, for his birthday she takes him to a local strip club, thinking it will help him relax.
The doorman at the club greets them and says, “Hey, Ben! How are things?” Betty is puzzled and asks if he’s been to this club before.
“Oh no,” says Ben. “He’s on my bowling team.”
The waitress asks Ben if he’d like his usual Budweiser. Betty says, “You must come here a lot for that woman to know you drink Budweiser.”
“No, honey, she’s in the Ladies Bowling League. We share lanes with them.”
A stripper comes over to their table and throws her arms around Ben. “Hi, Benny,” she says, “Want your usual lap dance?”
Betty, now furious, grabs her purse and storms out of the club and hails a cab. Before she can slam the door, he jumps in beside her.
The cabby turns his head and says, “How much is this guy paying, Betty?”

However, it seems that those in the media and others do little to hid their animosity toward Governor Romney. I read somewhere (or maybe I heard it on the radio) that some in the Republican heiarchy dont like Romney because he hasnt paid his dues, etc
I feel that there is much truth here. Look at what happened to Pat Toomey in Pennsylvania. He was a far superior CONSERVATIVE to Specter, but the Establishment gave Specter support because his time was due to be given the Judicial Committee Chairmanship.

I believe there may be something to that. I’ve watched several of speeches and I find him to be very moving. I would love to see him live.
Something that really shocked me, was according to the Foxnews exit polls, people who thought the economy was the #1 issue voted McCain over Romney. I would think a businessman would beat a senator on this issue anyway.

Funny you brought that up. Had dinner at Congressional Country Club last night, we’re not members mind you, and that subject came up. Mrs Suhks plays and used to take Clint Jr until he was 8 and quit when we moved to DC. 215lbs and can bench 400 pounds he probably could out drive Tiger. Keeping it in the fairway is another matter. ;o)

Look whos lining up for the VP slot! Are you saying Roody Doody has interior motives? LOL!
To: Kerretarded
Amen! I think that was the point at which I lost the little respect I had for President Bush. Pat Toomey was treated poorly, merely because Specter was a good ole boy.

OK,I'm impressed.
It certainly is a great course. Played it once with a member. Other than that they won't let me through the gates.
