There is absolutely no difference between Romney and McCain except that McCain won't lie about his position, whereas Mitt will saying, do, or promise anything to get elected and then screw you. Either way you are screwed.

A vote can be even worse than 'thrown away' in a primary. It can go to a candidate one would never consider voting for. For example, if I vote for Huckabee and he wins delegates, but later down the road decides to quit the race - whoever he endorses gets ALL his delegates! Therefore, I would've effectively voted for McCain. (That's most likely who he would endorse.)
