After all this I will vote for either McCain or Romney. We live in the age of the “moderate”. Until the electorate can determine big government is not all that its cracked up to be, the moderate will have to do for now. Anyone but Mrs. Clinton or Obama IMOP.

BS. I read all of these threads about Romney and all you people have to offer are Johnny-come-lately events that supposedly ‘prove’ that his record doesn’t matter.

Look at what’s cited in this thread. That Wikipedia nonsense which so cleverly glosses over what is being spoken of in this thread, is somehow cited as proof positive that the charge is false. The page says nothing of the kind, nor does anyone else.

I’ve never read anyone actually refuting the charge here or really any of the other charges by Mass Resistance. All I hear from the MittWits is how Brian Camemaker is such a ‘nut’ or ‘extremist’, but never any facts to contradict his version of things.

If there were facts, it would be great to read them. However, there is a difference between real world facts and the ‘facts’ that are dragged out by Mitt apologists, which are nothing more than conjecture and sometimes just sheer distortions of the truth.

There are people here willing to twist themselves into pretzels to defend this guy.

If you want to say he’s the best of the lousy choices left, I would probably agree, however to pretend that Mitt Romney is any kind of conservative is an insult to conservatives.

fraudulent conservative (fraw-juh-luhnt kən-sûr'və-tĭv) pronunciation

1. Pretending to Favor traditional views and values; tending to oppose change, except when changing positions, which happens based on whatever election is at stake.

2. Greasy or slick in style: a conservative empty suit with far too much grecian formula.

3. Moderate at best; liberal panderer at worst: a conservative's mystery grab bag.

4. 1. Of or relating to no political philosophy at all, except one that it is calculated will win the most votes at a given time. No understanding of the basic underpinnings of conservatism.

Love that sign he’s holding by the way.

“Change begins with us”

You betcha, change begins with Mitt Romney. At every election, his past gets swept under the rug and he tries to take on a whole new core philosophy and try and fool em again.

He’s a true ‘agent of change’...lol

This is one reason why I will never vote for Fraud Romney.. Keys whatever you think of him lays out the true facts of what happened and it wasn’t pretty! I will not buy Romney’s coverup nor his liberalism.

You seem to be ignoring that Judges can just igore the law (seperation of powers) and Constitutions, and that civil officials have a higher duty to uphold them, not silly court decisions based on judicial activism..!

Not that you are worthy of replying too, but...

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Do you think there’s any difference, really, between a gay marriage and something called a civil union?

GOV. MITT ROMNEY, MASSACHUSETTS: Well, I would rather have neither, to tell you the truth. I’d rather that domestic partner benefits, such as hospital - hospital visitation rights for same-sex couples. I don’t want civil unions or gay marriage.

But there is a difference, even when just the word is the difference. And the difference is that, if you indicate as a society that you’re indifferent between a same-sex couple marrying and a heterosexual couple marrying, then it means our schools and other institutions are going to have to indicate that there is no difference whatsoever, and that obviously has societal consequences that are important.

MATTHEWS: You mean if we called it marriage II or barriage or come up with some other word, and yet the law was exactly the same, that would be significant?

ROMNEY: Well, I’m not sure we are going to come up with a different word.

Don’t get too serious here.

I’m trying to have fun, not cut down fellow conservatives.

Alan Keyes is right almost all the time.

Its just that his focus is wrong (Running for President).

The energy of Alan Keyes and his supporters should be focused on something else.

Something that is a winnable and obtainable goal.

A seat in Congress (U.S. House).

I used to like Keyes and Buchanan. Keyes has really slipped. He sounds like a kook. And Buchanan does not come across much better.

We have two choices in this election cycle, which I beleive has been manipulated by the liberal godless athiest rinos because of cross over voters, and both are unacceptable with me.
I will vote Alan Keyes rather than the two fools left in the rino GOP, even if it means the monster of left wing marxists is elected. Rinos, like liberals, never learn the obvious fact that the right wing conservative base is not like the left wing conservative base and continue to make the insane decision to run a liberal lite.

Romney is a helluva lot more conservative than a small vocal segment want to concede or admit.

Problem is, many of those who call him liberal are believing their own propaganda.

None the less Keys is still a liar.

[Keyes is correct. The NewYorkTimes’ Judge in MA created gay marriage in violation of the MA Constitution. No problem though, for pro-DNC Romney.]

Yes indeed, he is not lying when he tells it like it is. Facts are facts and you know that when liberals hear facts, their secular humanism worship refuses to let them hear truth as they love darkness rather than the light of truth. Why? Because their deeds are evi.
