Zogby really going out on a limb. Here's what Survey USA says:

Clinton Appears to Blunt Late Obama Charge in California: 24 hours till votes are counted in the California Democratic Primary, Hillary Clinton appears to fend-off a late charge from Barack Obama, 52% Clinton, 42% Obama, according to SurveyUSA's 13th and final pre-primary tracking poll. Obama leads among men. Clinton leads among women. 44-point Gender Gap. Clinton leads among whites. Obama leads among blacks. 53-point Race Gap. Among younger voters, Clinton leads by 3. Among older voters, Clinton leads by 18. In greater San Francisco, the contest is tied. In the Central Valley, Clinton leads by 7. In greater Los Angeles, Clinton leads by 15. In the Inland Empire, Clinton leads by 16.

What to believe, what to believe? I can understand a tight margin but the variance between these two pollsters is stunning. Coupled with the absentee ballots that were sent when Hillary had a double digit lead she probably will pull it out tonight.

Both Survey USA and Rasmussen show a virtual Romney/McCain tie.

Some of these states haven’t been polled in 2 or 3 or 4 or more days, so the movement toward Romney could still be gaining momentum even today just like it did in Maine.

I won’t believe this until I see it.

agree
this poll is done by zogby a obama fan, no surprise there,

the media and these polling people have really tried to influence people like never before

we have the media cheer-leading for Obama and Mc Cain, htye have been attacking Romney and Clinton.

Now while I don’t lkike Clinton at all I have to admit that she along with Romney have not had a fair deal from the media or the polling people.

Mc Cain was in NY this morning.

New Jersey and New York voters. . . get out the vote for Mitt today.

It’s horrible to live in a state that gets written off for the Dems year after year!

I think its another one of Zogby dirty tricks being played on Clinton.
The scam artist that ATTEMPTED TO THROW THE 2004 ELECTION TO KERRY WITH THE PHONY KERRY LANDLSIDE PROPAGANDA SHOULD BE BEHIND BARS AND NOT ALLOWED TO POLL EVER AGAIN.

The MSM has always done a wonderful job of writing off NJ/ NY as liberal bastions. That gives voters the idea that their vote is worthless, and as a result conservatives don’t turn out.

On this very important primary day, vote your candidate, even if he is not the likely winner. It’s the only way to turn around our liberal image.

I voted this morning in Manhattan and I am outraged over our voting booths.

As I reported on the Super Tues. Thread, once in the lever-style voting booth, you see Green columns for each Dem candidate, including the Breck Girl. Looking way to the far right, you see one--count it ONE--Pink column for ALL the Repub candidates: Rudy, Duncan, Fred, Alan K., Mitt, Mike & John, and Ron. That's 8 candidates in one column.

It is a bit confusing to line up your candidate with the right lever--I cannot imagine an elderly person not finding it difficult--so I counted down in both the name and lever columns to make sure I was voting for Mitt.

So why do the Dems get favored in the voting booths???

Hillary is fading fast!

But is that good news or bad news?

I personally think she is more beatable than Obama because she is so unlikable.

The democrats have two candidates that have broad support in their party, and in the end the vast majority of their party will rally around either one, though more seem to have misgivings about Hillary and hopes for Obama.

The Republicans have had a field of candidates, none of which have really had broad support, and none of which still do.

The one thing Republicans can agree upon is that they hate Hillary. Republicans may not have good turnout to support any of the Republican candidates, but the will turnout to vote against Hillary in record numbers.

A Hillary nomination is likely our best chance at a Republican president. However, Hillary actually getting elected would be a horrible disaster.

A Hillary nomination is likely our best chance at a Republican president. ....I'd agree with you there.

However, Hillary actually getting elected would be a horrible disaster. ...IMHO, this one gets the award for "understatement of the year". Disaster? Pah! We're talking Dogs and Cats Living Together, Herds of Stampeding Walruses, Oh The Hugh Manatee, TOTAL ANARCHY!

As far as I'm concerned, I'd drive a stake through her heart, plant her, and liberally salt the burial plot. I want her out of the race long before November....because if she gets the nomination all bets are off.

Unbelievable. Sounds like you need to bring a ruler to the voting booth.

What’s with the Breck Girl still on the ballot? And Rudy, Thompson, Hunter?

Report it somewhere.

the Zogby poll was the most accurate in the Florida primary. In fact, it was dead on correct. All the others were off.

As much as I would like to believe both of those polls, I am not sure I can because of how inconsistent they are with others.

Agree. Waiting for Zogby to come out at 5pm CST and change the poll to McCain with some baloney. Remember his 5pm update on Bush/Kerry.
