If it is possible, gather as many Patriotic Americans that you can and show up!

This is all about the city of Berkeley's actions and words against the Marines.

I will kick in for some clothespins for MAF members’ noses since they’ll be in dangerous proximity to the Code Stinkos.

This is an email just sent out from Move America Forward:
Sent: Tuesday, February 05, 2008 11:47 AM
Subject: Urgent - You're Needed on Tuesday

There has been more fallout in Berkeley, California after the City Council passed a resolution that called our troops "unwelcome intruders" and called upon residents to not cooperate with any military recruiting center in the city.

Anti-military protestors, feeling emboldened by the city's blessing, chained themselves in front of the Marine Recruiting Center and prevented people from entering the facility. The police stood by and did nothing - telling people that they were "trying to remain neutral." See the video for yourself - HERE.

Thousands of you have responded to our call to action and registered your protests with the city via emails, phone calls and petitions.

Now, as Michelle Malkin reports, city council members are indicating that they may rescind the resolution at their next City Council meeting that takes place this Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 7:00 PM.

Move America Forward has already announced our plans for a giant rally outside the City Council chambers at the February 12th Council Meeting. We need people there by 5:00 PM for the council meeting start time of 7:00 PM.

However, since the news media will likely be camped out throughout the day, we will have staff arriving in the morning, and are asking as many supporters as possible to join us for at least part of the day - so there are bodies there for the cameras. Our first Move America Forward staff members will arrive at 5:00 AM (yes, in the morning) - this is when the early morning news programs begin airing in San Francisco.

The City Council Chambers are located at 2134 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way. It's right by Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. Here is a map of the location.

At the Marine Recruiting Office, you don’t.

The police apparently have been instructed to allow law breaking by those that they support.

It should be investigated on a higher level.

Thomas Jefferson!
“God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts
they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if it’s rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure.”

It’s not the Police’s job to be “neutral.”

Their job is to enforce the law.

Amen to that!

In some cities the City Council has control over what the police can and cannot do.

If this is the case here, some other agency needs to investigate.

What is needed is for some Marine Supporters to pre-empt the pinkos.

For instance, in the small hours of the morning before Code Pink turns up , WE go along and chain ourselves to the Marine’s door and then be able to form a clear passage of access to anyone who wants to get in our out.

When the Pinko’s turn up they will find that their position has been hijacked and will either have to fight for it or back off.

I wonder if anyone has looked into filing criminal charges against the Berkeley Chief of Police for not enforcing the law. As you rightly note, the Code Pinko people violated a good number of laws and the police are REQUIRED to take action if a violation happens before an officer, unless it would be a situation where the misdemeanor would be ignored in order to stop a felony.

Recruiting offices and their “employees” are Federal property...

Local law enforcement have been instructed on a variety of issues to NOT enforce Federal law...

(i.e.: Illegal immigration, et. al.)

So this whole idea about allowing people to choose to patronize these particular offices seem to spur some into breaking Federal law...

U.S. Marshals, U.S. District Attorneys, U.S. Military police and law enforcement should be brought into play...

I think it would be prudent to call the area commanding officer of that recruiting district and see if they would at least bring into play the military law enforcement assets and let them do their thing...

If the civilian Federal authority is dragging their heels (no big secret there) then the military should bring their assets into the area...

Not to mention the city’s violations of it’s own “anti-discrimination” laws.

Someone ought to sue the crap out of them in civil court.

It’s not the military police’s jurisdiction.

It falls under the Federal Protective Service

Yep, you’re right...

If this was a post office, we’d have armed SWAT all over this like white on rice...

But since this is a recruiting facility, the concept of “Federal” seems to have lost its meaning and significance...

The issue is a bit larger than it being a bunch of anti-Americans protesting the war and all their BS they espouse...

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not cross with anyone here, there has got to be a way to do a very painful end around on these freakshows so that the next freakshows feel it...
