LOL, you have even less respect for the intelligence of the average voter than I do!
And I think they're complete morons!
None of which will mean squat when Huckabee drops out to become McCain’s VP.
I definitely think Mitt’s religion is a factor with some voters. Should it be? Nope. But it is. I know a lot of evangelical Christians and they’re pretty overwhelmingly for Huckabee, and a lot of them have told me privately that Mitt’s religion is a stumbling block for them.
Colorado and Minnesota are a small caucuses, eh?
Dude, Romney won
1) Massachusetts
2) Colorado
3) Minnesota
4) Utah
5) North Dakota
6) Montana
7) Alaska (Well, he will. Watch and see)
To say that Romney got destroyed is simply to ignore the facts. He certainly didn’t pull off the upset he badly needed. He didn’t win Tennessee, Missouri, California, or Arizona.
Up ahead, the only certain win he has is Idaho. I think he could win Washington and Oregon, but that’s speculative...
I know you like to trash Romney. That’s been your raison d’etre around here for months. But at least be honest about it.
Romney will win Alaska later this evening, as well. Or at least I’d be willing to bet on it, given McCain’s nasty attitude towards ANWR.
This is stuck on stupid, or as Karl Rove said tonight, doubling your troubles.
Huckabee as VP? Adds nothing to the ticket. Loser idea.
Yep. Romney is insuring a McPain victory .
Do you think Romney will ultimately win the nomination ?
You don’t even see when someone is pointing out the flaw in your thinking. Evidently you want Romney to think logically but not Huckabee.
I don’t think Obama will be the nominee. He would be easier to beat than Hillary though .
Well said.
This guy also doesn’t seem to realize that people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Romney only won a couple caucii? What would he call Iowa and W. Virginia?
I get the feeling that your personal preference for Romney has interfered with your ability to get the point of what FoxNews was reporting.
Romney has spent an incredible and huge amount of money on campaigning, far outspending Huckabee, yet Romney failed to win numerous states/delegates that Romney’s campaign predicted they would win. I.E. - Romney did not do nearly as well as expected by both Romney, and others.
Huckabee, who has been repeatedly lampooned in the media, and completely dissed by Romney, did much better than expected.
So, in a general overall sense, Huckabee did better than expected, Romney did worse than expected. That’s really all that they were saying.
Putting all that aside, the saddest part of this night is that all 3 of these guys are light years away from Ronald Reagan, or the type of conservative we really need.
This election is the GOP’s election to blow.
I have long predicted the biggest landslide in history for the GOP. I only hope we can bring along the House with it.
Of course, if the election can be blown, the GOP can figure out a way to do it.
McCain is a good start in that regard. (Whoof...)
Well, I agree with the last point, but strongly disagree with everything else.
Their point ... repeated ad nauseum ... was that Huckabee emerged stronger tonight (wrong - he’s purely bible belt and the South) and that his campaign should keep going (wrong again).
I have no problem with someone saying that Romney is not seriously challenging McCain ... but it’s far more logical at this point to argue that Huckabee should be the first to bow out, then Romney.
Furthermore, if Romney bows out, very little of his support will go to Huckabee, so Huckabee staying in the race is nothing more than an ego trip. If Huckabee drops out, a greater amount of his vote will go to Romney. Enough to challenge McCain? Maybe not, but Fox News didn’t just say Huckabee did “better than expected”. They elevated him to peer status (or higher) with Romney. Ridiculous.

Romney just won Alaska and the round table of bimbos laughed as it was announced.
Fox is so in the tank for McCain it is ridiculous. This was a good win for Mitt to add to his night...add the screw job he got in West Virginia and it was not the landslide the media painted.
What makes it a good win? Alaska is 54% registered Independent. Supposedly McCain’s stronghold...he can’t win with textbook Republicans.
To your point ... who is the only remaining candidate in either party who didn’t win 50% of their “home” state?
You guessed it, John McCain.
That is why he held off so long speaking to his supporters. He was sweating it there for a few hours. I just wish the country club republicans didn’t vote for the bastard.
Exactly, it’s the charisma, dude!!!!!!!!
Who on our side has any??????????
MIKE H is the very only one. Is Mike perfect? Is Hillary? Is Obama perfect? Who has the charisma to compete??????????? Please guys here pay attention, all these years I thought you were SO smart.
