I really can’t see myself voting for mcCain as I honestly think he’ll do more damage than hillary can becuase with McCain there will be no opposition party.
Save for one thing...the War. Hillary and Obama would risk our troops lives for their political purposes. It’s a tough choice this November.
I hope he picks a good VP so that I can at least feel good about something.
“Don’t blame us if it turns out the way we have been warning you all along.’
Riiiiiiiiiiight. Sort of like the results of you, in your words, Icky right Wingers ‘overwhelming’ election victories during BUSH II (first time), and BUSH II Redux, due to sticking with those so-called strooooooooooong principles.
Then, congress was lost and then where were we?
In any event, its irrelevant. Now and then. Bottom line is, McCain can’t get his judges or mandates through without general conservative support, so we can take solace in that.
So callllllllllllllllllm down.
John is the enemy of this country! But so are Hillary and Obama. It’s lose lose for this country as things stand right now. I would suggest diligence in prayer.
I know it is, but john McCain knows war, knows he pain of it, has many Vets backing him because he has been active with them, The Va, and the Military Complex, as well as National Security isues.
Some of his domestic votes were left of center, but Hillary the the leader of the left, not just little to the left of center on all issues.
These people gave away secret intelligence for money,
commited campaign fraud, backed the FALN puerto rican revolutionary party by granting the criminal element amnesty in the last week of then President Bill Clintons term.
They are not even close in caring about any conservative policy.
And our Sanctuary City Mayor Sanders (San Diego) standing right behind McCain and his wife clapping away!!!
UGGGGHH!
“and you’re blaming Bush. Unbelievable.”
You took everything I posted way out of context. I was just referring to the fact that a good speech loaded with ideas is not ever considered to be a done deal.
It is every politicians mission when running for office, to lead the people on with rhetoric. Then drop the ball after they are elected. Say what the people want to hear.
That’s exactly what McCain did in his speech.
Bush has accomplished a FEW things while in office. But I guess his success depends on what each of us consider utmost importance, or hodge podge patchwork on the really big problems like immigration, social security, and curbing spending. Bush has shown steadfast resolve on the WOT. He caved like a wimp on everything else. So either he really had no desire to accomplish major reform, or did the liberal compromise thing, otherwise known as bi-partisan co-operation.
If we want something bad enough, we are never STUCK WITH ANY POLITICIAN. If we want better control of a President, we need to start with congress. Cleaning house in 2006 and 2008 will allow for some new conservatives. We can vote term limits if people want it bad enough.
