damn only plans on one term...hell the GOP even let him be candidate. that tells me the fix is in. Anyway I can kind of go along with hillary presidency, it would be like pulling a scab it hurts when you do it quick. We’d have 4 years of her and real conservative president in ‘12 plus we wont hear from hillary again. if mccain wins...well they will trod her out in ‘12

No flames from me. I agree.

I might, for the first time in my life vote for a Democrat.

If McCain gets in, he will not be opposed by congressional Republicans. They will rubber stamp every bad idea he has(and he has plenty). They cannot risk looking disloyal.

All three potential presidential candidates are bad news, but I think McCain is the worst because this.

I will vote for gridlock. It’s the best we can hope for.

Fine, if you think there is no difference between McCain and the Obamabeast, you should have no trouble voting for McCain.

I agree, McCain has the potential to push through really bad legislation by colluding with Dems and strong arming Repubs. Also, the only reason to vote for him was just eliminated. A McCain spokesperson on Fox said McCain wants to guard the borders of Iraq-not activelly fight-just allow the Iraqi government to fight. He will not win the war.

I think that once the rancor of the primaries die down, most conservatives will start seeing things more clearly and less bitterly.

Quien yo? Presidente Jorge y ahora Presidente Juan? No Gracias. Enganarme una vez, verguenza a usted, enganarme segunda vez verguenza a mi.

I’m with you 100%. With McCain in the Oval Office, Republicans “Up The Hill” will be less inclined to go against “one of their own”. President Hillary or Obama will better unite the Republican Congress and Senate. Besides, as Ann Coulter said: “I’d rather deal with President Hillary than with President McCain. With Hillary, we’ll get the same ruinous liberal policies with none of the responsibility.”

McCain needs to continue to make his case in convincing conservatives that he’s one of them.

If he truly was 'one of us', why does he need to convince?

That’s not a road. It’s a 12 century goat path.
