A victory for McCain IS a victory for the RATs. Stop fooling yourself.

NO!

Plain and simple.

It’s time to start a true Conservative Party. One that is not beholden to the elite, but to those that are truly conservative.

Yes, I do think that McCain will appoint judges that will find that the unborn IS a human being with the right to be born, God willing.

AS for his rating, check it yourself: http://www.acuratings.org/2006senate.htm

McCain’s lifetime rating is 82.3. Obama has an 8.0 and the Beast has a 9.0

Which do you prefer? Reagan would say that a person who agrees with me 4 out of 5 times is not my enemy.

Any Republican will be better for our nation than Obama or Hillary.
We have who we have, can’t change it now for 2008. This is our nation’s leader we are talking about. This is not some game, one of these people will actually live in the White House for 4 years.

Which one; McCain or Obama do we want to live there?
Voting 3rd party is a vote for Obama, not voting is a vote for Obama.

Then is it is a matter of degrees. Make your choice. Obama, Hitlery, or McCain. It WILL BE one of them. Sitting home or voting third party IS a vote for Obama or the Beast.

Okay. I’m with you. Who is running that will defeat Obama or Hillary?

Automated McCain Vanity response follows:

The thought of Obama in the White House will make me crawl over broken glass on election day to pull the lever for John McCain.

That being said, I will never believe in him or trust him and I despise him just as much as the next uber conservative.

In earlier threads I swore I would never vote for him.

Being realistic, I can see no other alternative at this point. So many conservatives are planning to stay home. I was one of them. He needs every vote we can give him. Without our votes, Obama will surely enter 1600, and hasten our destruction from within.

I too held hopes of a third party or brokered convention.

I don’t believe we have enough time for a third party. History has shown that it doesn’t work, it only splits the vote. Think Ross Perot.

The brokered convention would only confirm John McCain as the nominee.

I have come to the painful resignation that it’s clothespin time again, but I will bear no ill will toward anyone who cannot bring themselves to vote for him, just as I hope there is no ill will toward me for the decision I feel the need to make.

McCain’s lifetime rating is 82.3.

It's his recent years that I'm concerned about. In the last 4 years his rating is around 60!

He's gone Rat! I don't vote for Rats!

With Sen. John McCain’s unanticipated and rapid ascent to “presumptive GOP Presidential Nominee,” the liberal (left) wing of the Republican Party is positioned to seize control of the party and its conservative soul. This cannot be allowed.

McCain has a critical weakness ... an Achilles’ heel. To beat the democrats, McCain must have the votes of the party’s conservative base. Without the support of dedicated conservatives, leftist McCain cannot succeed.

When the Republican establishment is confronted with the cold fact that if the party nominates McCain, all efforts to win the presidency will be in vain. It will be forced to “broker” the leftist McCain into oblivion where he rightfully belongs.

It really is not a matter of degrees at all. It’s a matter of principle. That’s where I think you aren’t seeing the whole picture.

Republicans do not get my vote by default. They have to earn it.

McCain has shown he's a liberal and wants to take the party to the left. I refuse to enable him to do that.

To do that would be me giving my approval for his treachery.

Let the lemmings charge head long over the mcloon cliff if they so choose.

If they was so dead set on choosing a man who would betray the first amendment, who would betray our national sovereignty, who would tie the hands of interrogators, who fell for the man made global warming farce, who would side with 6 other traitors in the senate to maintain judicial appointee abuse, then let them have him.

Then you’ll get what you deserve.

"Let's hope he does and that conservative knows a lot about economics. Any ideas who that may be?"

Other than Romney, I don't.

"We've got a lot of work to do in Congress."

Unfortunately I live in New York State, so the chances of getting a larger number of Conservatives elected to Congress...especially the Senate are slim to none.

It was pragmatic, unprincipled thinking that brought us McCain, a candidate no principled voter, let alone conservative voter, could sustain. Low expectations brought us to this point, and for that, voters like you are responsible--so I'll return the thanks.

The GOP or some unseen political machine didn’t give us McCain. No, it was our inability to get behind a single, conservative early enough that gave us McCain.
