Why did he regret signing it?

“Well how do ya Romney backers feel about your boy now?”

It was expected. Romney was a moderate that could be stomached. But no one expected that he’d take a hard conservative stand and abandon the party because a liberal got the nomination.

I read your dumb post. Frankly, I’m sick and tired of these repeated efforts to morph Romney into a Reagan clone. And mentioning Romney in the same sentence with Reagan is an insult to the Reagan legacy. Period.

Romney is a class act, I can only hope his supporters will listen to what he has to say.

Most likely Romney has his eye on McCain-Romney in ‘08. This would be the fast track to Romney ‘12 while helping to pull some of the base back in.

According to his CPAC speech, it was clear that he said he would support the nominee for the good of the war on terror and our troops. So this is no surprise.

Mathematically, McCain is now the presumptive nominee no matter how many miracles the Huckster is wishing for.

At first, I didn't think I could ever support McCain. However, the more I read about Obama and his leftist positions, and the more I think about Bill and Hill back in our White House, I have decided I can support McCain. Two crucial issues dictate the decision:
1)support of our troops and their mission and;
2) SCOTUS nominees.
Both issues could change the course of history forever and will, most definitely, influence the kind of country our children and grandchildren will inherit.

Slit a vein or vote McCain? I'm going to vote McCain. Allowing the dems to win is potential suicide.

Why do I get the feeling that the idiots disparaging Romney as believing Jesus and Satan were brothers (1) aren’t religious themselves, and (2) to the extent they claim to be Christians have forgotten that Satan was once an angel of God?

Given the treatment of Romney and Mormons in general by Huckaliar, this comes as no surprise.

Mitt Romney is a great man and a great Patriot. God bless him.

Agree and if I were to guess, Romney does not want to be VP. It is time for Huck to get off the stage. The curtain is down. Wanta bet he won't?

I was a huge Romney fan from the get go, but I agree 100% with your post. I’m not saying Romney is Reagan and am not comparing the two just so it’s clear, but I think Romney could use the next four years to work in the conservative movement and will maybe fair better next go around.

I did not say belong to a religion,

I said their religious beliefs go to the core of who a person is. They are not necessarily the same thing.

If you believe in nothing you are likely to believe anything.

Sorry you are welcome to your opinion. Romney would have been a great president in my opinion. He had a vision for what America could be and what needed to be done.

That is my opinion.

From the article:

A source familiar with the decision said Romney wants to endorse McCain “in the interest of healing.”

There would be a lot less need for healing if Romney hadn’t spent a small fortune mischaracterizing Republicans. What a sleaze, trying to look like an angel after running a sleazy campaign.
