It won’t work. Blacks who are race-obsessed only vote for Democrat blacks. Whites who want to prove they aren’t “racist” by electing a black only vote for Democrat blacks. Feminists who want to elect women only vote for Democrat women.
In other words, McCain won’t cut into the black vote by picking Condi, and he won’t cut into the women’s vote, either.
What he will do is look like an affirmative action-driven multi-cultural panderer, which will only further prove that he’s beta to the Democrats’ alpha.
Not to mention that Condi is pro-abortion, she obsesses about racial issues that are fifty years old almost as strongly as the Democrats, and she’s insulted Israel while pandering to the Muslims. And she reminds the public of President Bush, who will be a drag on the GOP already, even without having one of his cabinet members on the ticket.
Bad, bad idea to put Condi on the ticket. I stand in awe of the power of Political Correctness. The ‘Rats are obsessing over race and gender and the response of many Republicans is to try to find racial or gender appeal to add to our ticket. If Barney Frank was leading for the Democrat nomination we’d have people here endorsing the Log Cabin Republicans so we could have a gay guy on our ticket, too.

Since the candidates are all so lacking in “experience” I think McCain should pick Mike Ditka. Atleast he’s got experience in football and since congress seems bent on going after sports figures these days, we could use an experienced sports figure at the senate helm! Would make for enjoyable C-SPAN coverage! Mike’s response to the football investigation: You bunch of dumba@##es need to cut this crap out and get back to work”. I’d pay big money to hear him tell off Hillary, Teddy, and Barbara box-of-rocks!

From the purely political angle this is a winner. The Lefties are deciding who should be President, someone with a vagina, or someone with dark skin, and they are having a time of it making a decision. Can't you just imagine their dilemma.........skin, vagina,…. skin? vagina? Who to support?
Our side, it seems could offer both in one package. We are even throwing in a white skinned guy. An old one, to get the senior vote! And everyone knows it's the seniors who vote, not the youngsters.
