We need a guitar players ping list. I never tire of hearing guitar players tell their tales.

Great idea. I'm not a guitar player. Just tried to provide a thread that might be of interest because Martin Guitar is a important local company, and this article was in my local paper.

nice post.

It was on Black Friday of last year that I went into a music store and they were liquidating their Martin stock. The store specialized in student instruments and nobody was buying their Martins. I got a D-16GT for $599 and a DCME cutaway for $899. Both with case. I took the cutaway to a luthier and had a bone nut and compensated saddle installed, along with ebony pegs and WOW does it sing.
