Blogger Commits Suicide as Protest Against Democrats and Left
Cleavland Plain Dealer Death Notices, The Freedom Fighter Blog ^ | 2/19/2008 | C.P.D. editors, Ronald Barbour

Posted on 02/24/2008 3:09:45 AM PST by Jack Black

I found this at The Freedom FIghter Blog. At first I thought it was a hoax. However I read through the blog and it became obvious that the author was a troubled person. I then searched on his name and found a death notice for the day of the posting in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. These are all the facts I have, and both links are included, but at this point it appears to be the an actual suicide note.

---------- BEGIN BLOG ----------

THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE

What would you do
If you were asked to give up your dreams for freedom?

What would you do
If asked to make the ultimate sacrifice?

I understand the ______ building is more than 150 feet tall. At the time of my last recon I noticed easy access to the roof that would allow someone to leap to their death to the parking lot below. I'm not an expert in these matters, but if I recall from my physics classes in college at 100 feet a falling object reaches a speed of about 100 MPH. This means that the falling man would hit the pavement at a speed great enough to cause instant death. I understand that over the years since the construction of this building several persons have died by jumping from this structure.

I plan to make such a leap. I do this in memory of the several hundred victims on 9/11 who jumped off the World Trade Center as a means of avoiding burning to death, and the over 3,000 American soldiers killed fighting Islamofascism in Iraq and Afghanistan. A parallel reason is a protest against the American Left and the Democrat Party who have stabbed the Armed Forces in the back in the early stages of what is shaping up to be The Third World War.

This is an excellent time to make a final statement - a dying declaration - about an event that resulted in my life being ruined. This is my imprisonment for an attempt on the life of President Clinton in 1994. In truth I made no such attempt and I was convicted on the basis of lies told to the court by the U.S. Secret Service and an edited audiotape. I have no way of knowing the dynamics behind my conviction, but I suspect that it was done on the basis of personal advancement and political reasons on the part of certain individuals in the District Federal Court and Secret Service. In addition I would not rule out Bill or Hillary Clinton being personally involved in my case based on their well known records of revenge against their opponents.

I have no doubt the Leftist Media will spin my death as that of an insane man with few options left in life who killed himself in desperation. In fact, the objective investigator will notice no signs of depression on my part the last months of my life. I would describe myself as an idealist. I know this is a personality strange to many people who would say such a person is "unusual" or "crazy" or "a bit off." The fact of the matter is that the actions of many people that were described as heroic happened because they were idealists who chose death rather than selling out what they hold to be sacred. In my case I cannot allow myself to continue to live in a world that is largely indifferent to a neo-pagan religion called Islam that in league with Leftist appeasement and multiculturalism, and seems on the fast track to destroy the United States and Western Civilization.

What I did is not suicide. It is the action of a patriot and idealist who loves God and Country, and who makes a very public statement as a warning of a New Dark Age that looks America straight in the face armed with a hideous ideology that makes the German Nazis or Russian Communists look like bleeding heart liberals. I hope my fellow Countrymen will rally once gain in the defense of liberty no matter how long and hard the struggle.

In this life or death struggle between civilizations it would be a critical mistake to limit our attentions to the plight of isolated individuals whom Islamic militants have threatened with death: the sort of mistake that leads to a "law-enforcement" attitude toward Islam-powered violence. The Qur'an commands Muslims to impose themselves on the whole world, by any means expedient. Muhammad's recorded history and sayings reinforce that command. Islamic militants believe that God and His Prophet have commanded them to erect a totalitarian, world-girdling Islamic state. If the last few years have taught us anything, it's that there are enough adequately motivated Muslims in any of the countries of Europe to reduce those countries to chaos or shari'a, as long as Islamic militancy is regarded as a law-enforcement issue...which means, as long as Islam is welcomed in the nations of the West.

This cannot be a law-enforcement issue. It must become a war issue.

Muslims as individuals might well be overwhelmingly inclined toward peace and amicable relations with non-Muslims, though, given the sanctification by Islam of taqiyya and kitman, one can never be perfectly sure. But Islam the ideology is inherently and openly at war with any nation that refuses it. Barring extraordinary good fortune such as America had with the Fort Dix Six, militant Islam's "active agents" cannot reliably be seined from their concealment until they've struck. To allow them to roam among us yet safeguard ourselves from them proactively, we would have to erect a totalitarianism that would make Oceania in 1984 look like a kindergarten class picnic.

We must accept that we're on a war footing, and do what a people at war must do to survive: expel our putative enemies from among us and confine them where they can do us no further harm. Europe's policy has been the reverse. India's policy has been inanition. America's policy defies elucidation. This cannot continue if we wish to survive as free men.

Quarantine or genocide. There are no other options.

Obviously this was a terrible unfortunate act. My prayers are with his family. One wishes, in retrospect, that someone could have helped him.

At the same time, obviously he wanted to tie his death to the statement above. He was sane enough to understand that we would view this as first and foremost mental illness, but he did not view it that way himself.

I'm not aware of another case exactly like this. Perhaps "blog suicide notes" are more common than I know. Certainly if one reads through the entire blog his situation is odd - assuming that the facts presented there are correct.

On the web it is always hard to know. I felt the only way to vet this was to put it here. Free Republic is one of the most powerful investigatory collectives in the world.

Looks like Alamo Girl may have another entry for the "Downside".

No, I’m not totally sure.
All I know is exactly what I’ve posted.

The blog is there in the link. You can read his story. He was apparently convicted of stalking President Clinton in 1994. There is a lot of material there, and there is this last posting.

I figured out his name by reading through the postings and googled it and found the death notice. I’m not sure that anyone else has noticed this, until I did. He seemed that it required posting.

Was he really convicted of an attempt of murder of President Clinton? I can’t seem to remember any such event.

Looks like it might be true. But the ages are all over the place. When I looked, 1994 articles have him as 39. The 2000 post has him as 52, and the death notice has 49 (8 years later).

No. They didn’t have enough evidence to convict him of attempted murder. He was convicted (according to the article, which is interesting in its own right) of ‘threatening the life of the President’.

One story on his blog listed him as 52 back in 2000. On his site his profile; http://www.blogger.com/profile/02767498198886077632 shows him to be 59 y/o.

The death notice you’ve shown is for a 47 y/o. Typo or maybe he’s still alive?

Yes. Suicide is a tragedy, no matter what the cause. To kill yourself over politics is really hard to understand.

Some one wrote this in his comments in the proceeding article when he was quiting blogging. This person offered him help or at least to talk with him if he needed to do so. The commenter seemed to understand what he was going through well enough to see the possibility of where he was headed:

“I want you to know if you are in a serious depression, I am here for you if you need to talk. My husband has struggled with depression all of his life. There is nothing to be ashamed of. If you are feeling so desperately low that you may be considering suicide please talk to me.”——Anonymous

Pretty strange. From the article posted at About.com(by him) about his arrest it states this:

“Maybe it started with his Cold War under cover intelligence duties in Berlin. Maybe it started with the untimely death of his beloved wife and parents due to cancer in a two-year period, and the debilitating depression that followed.”

Yet from the death notice posted earlier, his mother is still alive. ???

"Call me a coward, but I tend to believe that my life is more important to me than my death would be to others." Bingo. Additionally, you can make no change while you are dead. You cannot convert liberals when you are dead. It's impossible to share your views when you are dead.

Most importantly, suicide is a direct path in the opposite direction of God, and a completely selfish act. This may sound harsh in speaking about someone who has obvious disconnect or mental issues, but the facts are right there. Like it or not, as individuals, life does not revolve around us, it revolves around the collective love created by family and friends, and those are the people left to pay for the heavy debt of a suicide. I find it completely thoughtless of someone who commits suicide. In the case of this guy it's an even more outrageous example due to the fact that he was obviously still capable of rational thought and he did it anyway.

It's pretty disappointing if this is all true (frankly, I'm too lazy right now to start searching). The fellow seemed to be rather intelligent and for the most part, had his head on straight from a political position. Regardless of his past, may God see his way to have mercy.

I think General Patton said it best:

"No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."

Sometimes I've thought that things were so bad, personally, nationally and globally, that it would be a welcome relief to just go out with an opus. But I've decided it is far better to stick around and see if there isn't something I can do when the time comes to help that other poor dumb bastard realize his ambitions.

This is somewhat off-topic, but I do believe there are big things coming in the near future. I'm excited to be alive to see them. A lot of them will be bad, but I believe that good will win over evil in the end.

We may have President Obama. A nuclear Iran. Hezbollah testing their limits. Israel on a hair-trigger survival footing. Saudi royals looking over their shoulder nervously. Revolution in Cuba. Chavez reminding us he's still there. China rising. Pakistan falling. Russia trying to regather its lost empire. India prospering. Africa starving and killing (not exactly a new phenomenon). Soros and the other rich globalists frantically tugging on strings. Democrats focused on retreat and universal healthcare. The UN continues to eat and drink and make resolutions against the West (also not a new phenomenon). Global warming, global cooling, global jihading. Demographics replacing entire national cultures with alien theocracies. Democrats replacing entire national cultures with alien democracies.

We will see some interesting times. So many cultures have pointed to 2012 as some kind of Big Event. Maybe they knew something after all. I'm stocking up on popcorn and ammo. And don't forget clean water, nonperishable food and batteries. Oh yeah, duct tape and plastic too. Fired up, ready to go. Yes we can.

There were monks who would set themselves on fire in protest of certain types of political regimes they felt were so bad that only that could get their point across.

This is tragic, but I don’t think this automatically gets classified under ‘he was mentally unstable’.

I read Ronbo, mostly via The Midnight Sun. This is very sad, and cause for reflection. He was a patriot who loved his country very much.

He wrote “...who loves God and Country.” He may have loved one too much and the other too little.
