Uncle beheads toddler in supermarket http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,23316075-401,00.html A MAN beheaded his 15-month-old nephew in front of his mother in a supermarket in Saudi Arabia apparently after a family dispute, newspapers reported. The 25-year-old Syrian national picked up a knife from the store in the Red Sea city of Jeddah yesterday and decapitated the little boy in full view of shoppers, Arab News said. The man apparently killed the little boy following a dispute with the man's sister and brother-in-law, the English-language daily said. "He chopped off the boy's head in front of the mother to get back at her," a police officer was quoted as saying. The mother fainted and was taken to hospital. Murder is punishable by death in ultra-conservative Muslim Saudi Arabia, where the death sentence is usually carried out by beheading.

I didn’t even need to finish reading the headline to know this was an ‘islamic thing’.
In this country family diputes like this are handled by just not speaking the relative for six months or so.
Back during the Iranian hostage crisis, there was a slogan for a while: “Nuke their ass, take their gas.”
Ah, the good old days.
Islam doesn’t encourage peace or anything resembling it. It tells people to murder those who will not convert. It tells men that women and children are property. It tells men that any woman not dressed in a burqa AND escorted by a male relative is “just asking for it” and that a woman must have FOUR witnesses before she can charge a man with rape. It encourages murder as a way of salving ones family’s “honor”. It discourages civil behavior and encourages violence.
Behead those who behead.
I hope this is a duplicate article and not a duplicate incident.
Beheading is indeed one extreme part of Arabic culture - but at the same time, don’t read too much into this article. This is the act of a truly mad individual. Every place has their Jeffrey Dahmers.
