NEW YORK (CBS) ― Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton hinted at the possibility of a democratic "dream ticket" with Sen. Barack Obama.

Speaking on the Early Show on CBS, Clinton said "that may be where this is headed, but we have to decide who is on the top of the ticket."

Clinton said the race between her and Obama remains "incredibly close," with just "smidgens of difference" between them.

Clinton's remarks after her campaign won two big states yesterday: Ohio and Texas. She also won Rhode Island. The wins enabled her campaign to break Obama's 12-state winning streak and pick up some momentum of its own.

Speaking later on the Early Show, Obama congratulated Clinton on her victories while maintaining he would be able to wrap up the democratic nomination.

"We still have close to an insurmountable lead in delegates," Obama said. Obama said his campaign had won nearly twice as Clinton as well as a greater share of the popular vote.

I don’t know if I’d like Hillary on top.

Yeah, right. If Obama agrees to Hillary as his Veep, he may not even be his own man in an Obama Administration. He'd always have to watch his back... for any moves her Highness made against him.

If she was VP, her president would have a very short life expectancy.

These 2 on a ticket would be a hanging softball for McCain to knock out of the park with a little conservatism. He's probably not smart enough to realize that though.

She might not have a choice but to make Obama her VP if she wins, since she has alienated them so badly.

On the other hand, if she can't win directly, she can probably negotiate a deal to acquire the VP spot for herself and let fate (i.e., arkancide) help her acquire the presidency.

So many liberals "leaders" already seem to believe that Obama will be martyred (i.e., assassinated) in office if he's elected president, so the road is paved for her either way.

I've been saying this from the start. If the dems have a Hitlery/Osama ticket then McInsane is toast, because there's enough googoo-eyed idiot Dhummies that will vote in droves to elect the first woman/black ticket just because it will be viewed by the world as SOOOO progressive.

Hang on to your hats. It's gonna be a rough 4-8 years. I pray I'm wrong.

And I'm not the only one believing that a Hitlery/Osama ticket spells curtains for McInsane. I fear our chickens are about to come home to roost.

How obama or clinton will beat McCain

I unfortunately agree with you. People keep talking about a brokered convention and this is what I believe will be the end result. If it is we are #ucked.

I don’t think Hillary’s ego would allow this and Obama will have too many Hillary thrown knives in his back.

She will have to win a lot more to command that kind of a deal. When (if) she does that she would be much better served getting someone else, possibly from the South and toward the center, for a running mate. This doesn’t at all make sense.

She is coaxing him into a more congenial posture, whereupon she unloads her next treasure chest of dirty tricks right before the next round of major delegate primaries.

I do not believe that the Obama supporters would go for a “Driving Miss Hillary” scenario.

Yeah, I thought a few months back that Evan Bayh would be Hillary's VP choice, but now, assuming she gets the nomination, I think she will have to take Obama to keep peace in the party. I also think that a Hillary/Obama ticket will be formidable in November, and the odds-on favorite to win.

There will be a huge, drooling, sobbing, fainting, worshipful rally where they come out onto stage hand in hand, with all Dems and the MSM in heaven. Then they will set off in the “Unity Express For Change” bus tour.

The question is: will this spectacle of drooling libs, feminists and radicals turn off more voters than it attracts? We will see.
