What We Know About Client 9 (The soon to be former Governor Eliot Spitzer)
New York Magazine ^ | March 10, 2008

Posted on 03/10/2008 2:33:07 PM PDT by COUNTrecount

What We Know About Client 9 From a redacted copy of the sealed complaint about the Emperor's Club prostitution ring, we were able to extract the following details about Client 9's dealings with the organization, and his Washington liaison. Client 9, according to the Times, is the one alleged to be Governor Eliot Spitzer. We have no official confirmation of this. But below are the things that we do know about this mysterious player from the legal papers: • He refused to use a "traditional wire transfer" to pay the organization but arranged for an Emperor's Club girl to take Amtrak down to Washington for a visit. • Client 9 seems to have used the service before. • He also thought the choice of his prostitute, "Kristen," was "great" and "wonderful." • The agency charged him $4,100 for "Kristen"'s visit. • The tryst took place in room 871 of a Washington hotel. On a side note, the domain www.room871.com has already been purchased. • Client 9 was willing to pay "extra" for "better" services. "Kristen" was a pretty brunette, petite, five-foot-five and 105 pounds. • The fee ended up being $4,300, with the "extras." • "Kirsten" did not think Client 9 was difficult, but he might have asked her to do things ("basic things") that "you might not think were safe."

"I'm Client Number Nine"
(to the tune of Love Potion Number Nine)

I took my troubles down to Madame Rue
You know that pimp with the gold-capped tooth
She's got a pad down on Thirty-Fourth and Vine
Sellin' high-priced whores to me...I'm Client Number Nine!

I told her that I was a flop with chicks
I've been this way since 1986
She looked at my equipment and she made a magic sign
She said, "You need some tricks tonight...my Client Number Nine!"

She bent down and turned around and gave me a wink
"Like Clinton, I'm gonna do you right here at the sink"
It smelled like turpentine and it wasn't quite pink
I held my nose, I closed my eyes, man did it stink!

I didn't know if it was day or night
I started humpin' everything in sight
But when I humped a cop down on Thirty-Fourth and Vine
He busted my Lib-@$$, that’s me...I'm Client Number Nine

------ guitar solo ------

I held my nose, I closed my eyes, man did it stink!

I didn't know if it was day or night
I started humpin' everything in sight
But when I humped a cop down on Thirty-Fourth and Vine
He busted my Lib-@$$, that’s me...I'm Client Number Nine
I'm Client Number Nine
I'm Client Number Nine
I'm Client Number Nine

Wouldn’t you love to see the wife just haul off and belt the guy right across the face during one of these apology news conferences that she’s always dragged before and then turn and walk off? Or better yet, after belting him, stand there and ask him what in the hell he’s thinking, say before she leaves, “You’ll be hearing from my lawyer!”

Has anybody since Chuck Berry actually been prosecuted under the Mann Act?

I don't know, how did this become a Federal crime?

YES!! But I also think the woman should be able to skip the news conference in the first place....and then skip out on him and take the girls with her.

The high price of the transaction is blowing a lot of minds. I don't think it is remarkable. It's not that the girl was worth so much, but how much do you think it would take to overcome the hookers revulsion to monkey like Spitzers face?

That probably means unprotected sex, but it could also mean......ahem.......other things...........

I can't imagine that a high-end prostitute would risk unprotected sex for a mere $200 more. Musta been the other things. Sheesh.

100% certain it's unprotected. Those of you who were sexually mutilated (circumcised) as an infant know what I'm talking about.

Greta van S. on FNC said that he’s probably trying to negotiate it down from a felony to a misdemeanor so he won’t have to forfeit his law license. She said the complaint is really a request for a search warrant so that they can dig up more evidence...maybe like on his computer or his bank records...they already have text messages and the pros statements so I guess the idiot really put his foot in it BIG TIME! Hubris and the Emporer’s Club...couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

But its not OK to pay for it. What gives?

...Spitzer has been caught red-handed breaking the law. And a law simple enough for any lazy-minded American to understand. And a law he prosecuted others for breaking as recently as 2004. This is different - and much tougher for Spitzer to outlast. Especially with the Bruno scandal still fresh in the voters memories.

"Has anybody since Chuck Berry actually been prosecuted under the Mann Act?"

IIRC, at least one of the charges against Charles Manson came under the Mann Act because of the young women he moved around in his cult, but that would have been a bit less serious than the other charges against him!!

"I am certain we will all have the opportunity to see a lot of Kristen in the near future. She’s probably a graduate student and will write a book on her experiences as a sex worker before heading off to the London School of Economics."

Now she can make quite a career for herself on the campus circuit of those so-called "sex worker" conferences -- IIRC, Duke, Harvard, and William and Mary have all had some notoriety in the past couple of years for hosting conferences about "sex workers" and what better headline speaker than the hooker who brought down the Governor of New York?!?!

Whose money was Spitzer using, that’s what I’d like to know. That IRS program seeks out patterns, which implies he was a “regular” client. At $2600 to $4000 a pop, what are we looking at here—$30- or $40,000 on hookers for a year? I know he’s from a rich family, so maybe that’s it. But NY is $4 billion in debt. If a cent of this was from the public coffers, just one cent...

Also, who are the other clients? Who referred Spitzer to the service in the first place? Guys like Spitzer rely on a network for this kind of thing. The Mayflower is the haunt of many on the Hill. Who are Clients 1 through 8? Are there Clients 10, 11, 12.....? Who else is dirty here? The rats travel in packs.

At any rate, I hope he DOESN’T quit—not right away. I want the Rats to have to answer for him right through their convention and into the general. Answer and keep answering.
