That should be interesting. I remember several years ago a friend of mine claimed her father had been murdered by Manson down at that ranch. I didn’t take it seriously. I might owe her an apology or at least some sympathy.

Take two:
Teaser said they has found bodies, segment said they were looking for bodies.

Unless there was a constitutionally valid death penalty law in effect when the murders took place, there will be no death penalty now if he is convicted as such punishment would be ex post facto.

Bad news about that parole hearing, Charles....

This could be the media circus of all media circus’s if it is true they are able to find bodies and charge Manson with the murders.

Death penalty, is unfortunately, almost certainly excluded as
ex post facto. The Supreme Court, in its superior wisdom < /sarcasm> struck down all existing death penalty statutes then in effect, meaning the worst penalty for any crime was life.
The Constitution explicitly and correctly forbids making something illegal after the fact or increasing the penalties for a crime after it's committed.

N&V, you have to remember—it’s CALIFORNIA. Death penalties are seldom enforced.

Whenever I see a picture of Manson (which thankfully is not very often), I see the swastika tatoo he has on his forehead and I think, that swastika would make a nice target!

Convicted Manson family members got the death penalty, it was later commuted to life in prison.
