He says is is possible to screw up putting the padlock in and get it in front of the trigger if the weapon isn't fully in the holster.

That sounds like an exceedingly plausible explanation for this event. An ND, but definitely equipment related.

Where did I mention anywhere “Glock” muchless a specifc model? Are you making things up? Besides less than1/10th of 1% of LEO has ever fired their weapon in the line of duty. The ‘ready for business’ is more about ego than being responsible.

LOL, Barney Fife, very quaint. I tell you what there sunshine pumper, I’ll put a 20+ year career in the Military and special ops up aganst your local yokel training and expertise any day of the week.

Your last comment about defending the flight deck is border line ludicrous. I know 100 guys that could ‘take’ the flight deck from most of these pilots (armed or not), without any ‘weapon’ at all. Their best defense is keeping the door locked.

“I know 100 guys that could ‘take’ the flight deck from most of these pilots (armed or not), without any ‘weapon’ at all. “

Maybe true, but how many would want to try knowing the pilot has a gun that he can pull and fire in under 3 seconds?

It’s called making the enemy look for an easier target; or armed deterrence.

The enemy doesn’t mind dying, but he doesn’t want to die and FAIL.
